About Braintree Municipal Golf Course
Braintree Municipal Golf Course is considered the best municipal golf course in the area and one of the best public courses around. It is a great track with a great layout that is fairly priced and a bit challenging. The course is in fine shape, with immaculate greens, solid fairways, and bunkers with real sand. It remains in pretty good shape even after rain. The staff is excellent and friendly. Many recommend visiting the restaurant afterward for a cold drink and food. While generally positive, some note that pace of play can be slow at times.
I was pleasantly surprised by this course. The conditions were great and I loved the layout. Definitely one of the better public courses Ive been to in Mass.
