Was extremely disappointed when trying to cancel my membership several times due to a medical issue I was refused and told to come back when a manager was available. I then called another day because driving is uncomfortable for me at the moment to ask if they could cancel me over the phone since I came in and was told to return when a manager was present and was refused and given the manager schedule for the following day. The manager was not in when I went and I made the employee take down my note for cancellation. Instead of cancel me promptly when Morgenne came in she put it at the bottom of the priority list and I had to follow up again. I was also charged $18/Month because my contract was up because of this ridiculous delay and lack of compassion. In terms of the actual club itself, it was often dirty, but I wanted the standard Bench Press & Squat Rack that I could not get at a Planet Fitness. They hire teenagers as their daily staff when a manager is not in, which seems to be pretty often and they frequently are too busy chatting up their friends than actually doing their jobs. The club put up fliers all around the gym stating "this is your gym too, please put weights back and clean up after yourself", but the last number of times I was working out there at peak hours not a single wipe machine had wipes in sight, had to ask the front desk to put them out so I could clean up after myself and was greeted with attitude and sarcasm every time. I would also come in at opening every morning and weights were left all over the floor because clearly staff at closing wasn't doing their job. I worry about actual cleanliness and disease that may spread due to the lack of cleaning operations both because there were no wipes available and because I don't think I've ever seen anyone cleaning anything. For the record, I would have given this club a 2 Star if they hadn't been so in-compassionate and irresponsible handling my cancellation. And sadly, I still would have come back after my injury, but now I'll find a better club at a higher tier than this bottom of the barrel location.

I appreciate Kelly, the yoga instructor doing early ? morning yoga. Also Kara is special. They both get you in deep thought, and relaxes the body. I'm glad I'm part of Krunch as a member

Morgan the manager is refusing to cancel or freeze membership for 14 year old sick child. Even though he has not used the gym in 4.5 months. I have emailed, went to gym and talked to her, and phoned on numerous occasions. Now she is saying account is in collections, she will not cancel. Anyone else dealing with this?

Solid gym, nice equipment & good environment. Just wish they had one more bench press available, as it is almost impossible to get one during busier hours.

I've been a member here for almost 2 years. I really admire and appreciate every one of the staff and members there. The instructors are the best and the front desk staff are amazing! Would definitely recommend people to join this Crunch facility

I am beyond frustrated with this gym, particularly the personal training. I moved away for a job and tried cancelling my membership and future training session about FOUR times since leaving at the end of March.Since, I have been charged $360 for training sessions that I can't redeem. And $12 for membership renewal. Hopefully after today's phone call with the front desk (since the manager never makes time for me) i will not be charged again. I will update my review if I am not charged again. If there was fine print that Jake and the training program manipulated me with, thats a complete separate issue. There has been no clear communication since I left in the end of March (besides the young asian man who works the front desk who is wonderful).Although I had a great experience with my trainer Kara, it is a shame that I can't recommend this gym any longer. It is also a shame if the personal training program continued to manipulate a young woman after asking multiple questions, asking for clarification, and opening up and bonding with the trainers.

Pretty simple review….get some responsible employees that can show up for work and open the gym on time. Many of us are sick and tired of getting here at 7:00am on the weekends to get our workouts in before WE go to work and nobody shows up to open the place on time. Sitting here typing this in your parking lot at 7:36 am and the place STILL isn’t open! This is ridiculous and your members have had enough!

This place is absolutely horrible to deal with. I moved away 1.5 yrs ago and have tried to cancel my membership for months and have gotten brushed off left and right because "the manager isn't in" . Eventually they gave me a website to fill out a cancelation form. After submitting, I got a call from a foreign call center who told me I needed to pay an additional month due to the 30day policy, which is ridiculous since Ive been trying to cancel for 6months to a year. Their policies are designed to trap you in. You cant cancel if you cant get ahold of a manager who is "not here", and then when you finally get the link, they will extort you for one last month.

The gym is a fraud. My daughter signed up for a year membership on Jan 25 2022 and her membership should have expired this year by December. The gym continues to charge money to our account because they claimed they had informed us that when we freeze the account the membership would be extended and we would have to pay the annual membership fees two times which is $59 plus every month $12.99 which is a huge lie. Nobody informed to daughter when she freeze her membership she need to pay the annual fee twice a year. So parents please please don’t send your teenagers to this gym. I will complain about this fraud to better business bureaus.

You have to give 30 days notice for cancelation, even After contract period. Talked to the manager:Me: I can understand if you need 7-10 days notice but if you say 30 days, that's an average length for a month, you might as well say we will charge you an extra month after cancelation regardless. Her: You can say that.Just so you know you will always have to pay for an extra month. However you take is up to you.

THIS BUSINESS PARTAKES IN UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. I advise you do not go to this gym as it is not worth the way they treat you. Your time is more valuable. If you'd like to know why I feel this way, please read my full review. I tried to sign up for a month to month membership online. I had an older account, and when I signed up, I only had access to the older non-active account. As a result, I did not have a gym membership card and my phone number was linked to my old profile, which made it impossible to check into the gym or sign up for group fitness classes. This occurred the first day I went in to use the gym and the manager Morgenne Dugas was at the front desk with one other deck receptionist. I was told my account would be reset in 24 hours but it was not. As a result, I never received a membership card. If you are not aware, as per the contract, a membership card is required to be presented every time one visits the gym and access to an active profile is needed to sign up for group fitness classes. By not providing me with a functional membership card, there was a breach of contract as I was not given access to contractually guaranteed services. I was not helped in a timely manner so I hand delivered a cancellation notice with "breach of contract" written in the back of the envelope to the manager Morgenne Dugas and let her know to call me with any questions. A few weeks later, I started to get barraged with daily emails, calls, and charges to my credit card despite reporting a breach in contract. The manager tried to tell me cancellation letters are required 30 days in advance of the next billing cycle, which is incorrect as you only need to make sure you submit this notice via certified mail or hand delivery 10 days in advance (which is written out in the contract...). It is alarming to me that the manager does not know the correct timeframes stipulated in the contract, chooses not to assist members when they initially present with account issues, does not respond to emails, has a full inbox, and refuses to work with their clients. Morgenne also recently reviewed the gym on google and gave it 5 stars despite her being a manager at this business being a conflict of interest. It's crazy, the owner even responded to her -- but was it her or was it the owner? I'm not sure which is worse. While I hope things get better, I will never feel comfortable trusting a Crunch gym nor any gym managed by Northeast Fitness Holdings again after this experience.

I’ve been a member at CF Braintree for about 2 years, so I think I meet the minimum requirements to leave a review. My gym hours are usually 5AM-6:30am/7am. They’ve gone through several employees in the last 2 years, more than your normal rate. There’s been times when I’d arrive to this gym at 5AM and the door isn’t open bc their employees quit or didn’t show up on time to open. They constantly need machine maintenance and take weeks or months to get it fixed. They never clean the studio room where they hold group classes. There’s always mountains of dust bunnies. The worst part is the current front desk staff they have now (5AM shift), you can absolutely tell she hates working there. Today was my last straw, i walked over to a machine that was out of order that was in perfect shape just yesterday. I don’t have the patience to deal with this gym anymore. I understand, you get what you pay for, but is it even a gym if the equipment is always broken? The rude front desk lady just added the icing on the cake. I canceled my membership today.

Would give it 0 if that was an option. This white boy training manager comes up to my girlfriend and I working out and tells us we shouldn’t and cant do that together or we have to leave. These white boys spent 50 minutes staring at us girls working out together and wanted to come up to tell us they were staring at us watching us. Um hello when is it ever ok to force yourself onto people who are working on injury prevention and muscle growth when you are a simple Crunch personal trainer or manager whoever he was he was rude and dirty. The gym was quite because no one was there so I guess they had time to stare and harass women today
