March 2024 by Admilson Depina
Literally the worst place to bring your car to. Brought my car there in November. 2 months later I get the car back and it was making a rumbling noise I called them and they said it's the 2 front tires that needs to be changed. Paid them $ 600 dollars for the 2 tires and it was still making that same noise. We're going through March now and I still haven't got the car back. At this point I'm gonna have to go buy another car.

I recently picked up my 2018 Honda Clarity from Herb Chambers Collison center and was extremely pleased. My advisor / appraiser, Lee McInerney, was more than super to work with. From my initial drop off to pick up, Lee's attention to detail and her clear and articulate approach in explaining the damage to my vehicle and what to expect in terms of repair made the whole experience great. I wish others in the automotive industry would take lessons from her and the entire Herb Chambers Collison center staff of professionals. Couldn't have asked for a better place to bring my vehicle.BRYANT

The technicians did a fantastic job on the repair looks just like I bought it again. Jeff was extremely helpful and thorough with the all the parts that needed to be replaced. I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Terrible customer experience & communication. The work got done well.Over the course of 4 weeks of my car being in the shop I called for an update at the beginning and end of each week. I was never given the information I asked for or a real update. On 4 occasions I was put on hold, told I would be called back that day, and NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. This happened 4 times, and twice on a friday morning where I was left to wait over the weekend with absolutely no update. They also told me on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS that they would handle extending my rental car, and they never actually did that. Finally, at the beginning of week 3 I was told the car would be done EOW. That friday they pulled the not calling back thing, and then I had another whole week of them not giving me any update and finally got to pick the car up 2 weeks later. And if you look at the 1 star reviews, it looks like MANY OTHER PEOPLE have had the same experience. It is just shameful that these people think its OK to lie on the phone, and not follow up with customers whose car was entrusted to them.

I don't have my car back yet and it has been 7 weeks. Everytime I call, whomever I speak with is very nice. My concern is the information I am given changes each time along with the time line.

Thus far having a great experience. I needed to get my car back by a certain date to travel. in working with Julia, she was diligent and was able to get the work scheduled on my car for it to be done on time. She was dogged in her work, and did an excellent job keeping me informed.

I had the worst possible experience at this Ford. I brought my truck in for some cosmetic service. I called the night before the pick-up day and they said it wouldn't be ready the next day. It was frustrating, but I understood.I asked for an time estimate for when it would be ready and they said to call on the next Monday. I called Monday and every day after and they refused. They would only say that I would get a call back from a supervisor (or from "another department"). I never did. They refused to return my calls, or update me, and they held my truck for 2.5 wks. Afterwards (after I did eventually get it back) they told me that an unexpected part broke during the process of the repair to my side mirror, and they "had to order the part." That had been the cause of the delay. But I was never given a chance to get my truck back while they ordered the part. No one ever returned my calls or gave me a timeline that it might be done in a week or a month, and they refused to let me pick it up without speaking to a supervisor (who again... never called me back).I spoke to Derek and explained that they were essentially stealing my truck. Derek told me that it was the fault of the "other department" and that he can't control what they do. However, he said that (once he got the truck), he would only need a day and a half for the service work (oil change, brake check, etc). But days later, when I was finally was transferred to a person (maybe Sean) from the "repair department", they said that Derek had been given the truck two days before on the Wednesday. And I still didn't get my truck back until halfway into the NEXT week. Hard to say who is lying in that place.Derek was very nice when speaking to me (when I finally got him on the phone halfway through), but the finger pointing that they did (between the service department and repair department each blaming each other,) made it impossible for me to know who was lying to me. Regardless, no one helped. Each one just said that it wasn't their fault and that someone from "the other department" would call me back... day after day... for 2.5 weeks. I was consistently told I could not have it back because it was still "disassembled" and that a supervisor would call me back with an update on the timeline. And that never happened. Finally, I got the truck, and the cost was over the estimate by hundreds of dollars. I would have appreciated a heads up that the estimate was not going to be met. I could have opted to not have that work done. But again.. this place did not like to communicate. After, Derek referred me to his supervisor John. John was the same. (Very nice, however, after assuring me that he was horrified to hear that no one called me back that whole time, he assured me that he would "speak to the general manager" and "call me back.") He didn't. A week later, we did the same dance again. He apologized, and again, said he would call me tomorrow. He didn't. Finally, we spoke and he blamed the general manager for dropping the ball. John seems far more interested in convincing me that it was not the fault of "his" department. To summarize:- They stole my truck.- The overcharged me and never offered me a chance to decline the work (when it was way more than the estimate).- Even the supervisors are playing the same game of not returning calls (while always being so kind on the phone).- And the "general manager" (according to John) has also failed to call me. It's either a lie to me, or a lie to the general manager.Either way, I'm sure they are reading this post and their day will not be affected.I'm not a sensitive kitten and I don't need apologies. This is my first posted review of anything, ever.If their boss is reading this, and actually DOES care, then I have the appropriate remedy for them:1.) Return to me, the money that I paid that was over the estimate I was told.2.) And tell your employees to commun

If I could give ZERO stars I would. All I've received is lies, the runaround, shitty service and failed promises. they've had my car since mid-June and it took them 5 weeks to even get it on a lift and look at it - of course they never told me that! then they had to go back and forth with insurance - fine ... then order the parts... another delay. Then they installed something incorrectly and had to send it to the volvo dealership to fix it. They lied saying it was there - when in actuality it was not for another few days. then they gave the person at volvo the wrong information - another delay. the icing on the cake was today when i called braintree again looking for an update and the woman who answered the phone said my "advisor" would call me back on Monday (fyi - they NEVER call you back) so i said it's 1:00 on Friday and there is no one there to answer my question? she said no - and that she had the manager quit on tuesday (didn't even show up to work i guess) and she's got no one running the place. Seriously? i said - well i've been paying $900 a month for my car - for 3 months - and driving a crap rental car - she said she "didn't care how much i spent" and then hung up on me. i immediately called back and she hung up on me again. this place is horrible. zero stars. i do not recommend.

Customer service and the finished product were poor. We had our Lexus IS300 repaired a few months back and the car was rotten when returned to us.1. When we picked up the car, everything we had stored in the trunk was piled up on our front seat, including leaves and dirt2. The rubber seal for the trunk was covered with white overspray3. The exterior of the car was very dirty4. The interior of the car was covered with a gritty powderI called twice, expressing my dissatisfaction and asking for a return call from a manager, but that call never came. The kicker was one of the line items in the bill was "detail car".What a joke.

Upon recommendation I brought my Porsche Panamera to the Herb Chambers Collision Center in Braintree. It was there that I met the manager of the shop Brian Mountain who was able to simplify the entire process by his expertise. I explained to Brian what had happened, and he listened attentively, made notes, and then made things happen. I was impressed with his professionalism, politeness, how organized he was and how he took notes of all the details necessary to accomplish the objectives at hand. The workmanship on my car was as good as it gets and my experience at the Braintree Herb Chambers Collision Center could not have been better. When I thanked Brian, he gave credit to his wonderful team behind the scenes that did the outstanding work. The Herb Chambers ethic that customer service is paramount was very evident and I experienced it first-hand. I recommend the Herb Chamber's Collision Center in Braintree without reservation.

They had my car almost 3 months, when my wife picked up the car door was way out of line, we had to bring it back again. No quality control at all. Paint job was ok. I would never recommend this body shop to anyone.

My 2015 Honda Pilot got a paint peeling between the windshield and the sunroof glass last October. I notice the same issue on many other Honda Pilot and it looks like it's a well known problem. A case was opened with Honda customer service. They sent me to this place to get a fix estimate. The report generated by the team was not accurate and the estimate was over priced. After three weeks of the case review. Honda closed the case and they're not doing anything to fix the problem.
