Apparently online order returns have to be keyed manually in-store ? Michaels, please fix your returns process so it doesn't have to be so painful for customer service and customers!

I just went in to this location looking for 9 balloons for An event that my company was is having. I felt terrible for not calling ahead but, manager Jillian was able to help me right away and get me In-N-Out. I really do appreciate that. She was nice kind and courteous. We had a great conversation while she was filling the balloons. I will definitely be coming back to this location.

I get my yarn here. Every time I go there is a line waiting to check out. I can't say anything bad. Everyone is always friendly and helpful. No matter what I will continue to go back.

The main thing that makes coming to this store unbearable is the other customers, usually having tantrums over an item not being available. The store is under staffed, but every store in probably the entire state of mass is under staffed, so I don’t understand the negativity and complaining about that. Staff was friendly and tried their best to help. Some boxes were in the aisles but I could just walk around or go down another aisle. Simple problems that have simple solutions. Many customers seemed to be having a little meltdown at the check out when there was a line, but I can’t blame the cashier who was working hard regardless. Yes it is disorganized but not more so than anywhere else. I’m guessing most of these excessive negative reviews are by people who don’t get out much.

This location is in desperate need of better management. This was the only Michaels nearby that was listed to have the material I was looking for. However it wasn’t on the shelves so perhaps it was somewhere in these boxes. Multiple isles and shelves were bare and need of being restocked, but by the looks of it I don’t believe it’s getting done. Additionally, i don’t think it’s safe to have so many boxes blocking paths and on the floor.

Put in a BOPIS order for a wood wreath. Went to pick up and was told it was broken. The employee barely looked for another one. Questions are- why would you pick a broken one for an online order? When did it break? And why wouldn’t you have called so I didn’t have to drive 40min one way to find out it was broken. Just rude.

So sad to see Michael’s so so understaff. Also everything is everywhere. I asked for glitter and the assistant had to ask someone else. The place where I was directed had too expensive glitter. As I walked around I found two more places (atmore affordable price) where glitter was shelved. Simple things such as Xmas stickers were nowhere to be found. The store looks half empty and disorganized.I feel that the display system needs to change to a more practical and self guided experience. Consolidating similar items would make it easier and quicker. Computers where the client can write the item wanted and find out if available (or not) and where to find them within the store can improve sales tremendously. I walked out with only half of what I was looking for.At another store, I was told that most of the floor employees were attending online sales. If it doesn’t change, I can sadly foresee Michael’s becoming an all online store (or just closing) and jobs made redundant.NOTE: All employee were very courteous and helped as much as they could. Very professional.
