I'm originally from Houston, TX and I was visiting Boston. I popped into this nail salon to get a pedicure and a gel manicure.
I can honestly say the gel manicure that I got was the best that I've had in years! I wish I got the name of the guy who did it so that I can give him kudos. He was a young guy, the only man there at the time so I hope the owner will pass on this review to him.
He was so careful, gentle but firm. And the gel lasted!
The price was also competitive. I was expecting something way higher than I was quoted.
Anyway, this place was great and I highly recommend it!

I have been going to a neighboring nail for over 10 years, but my nail stylist left and I have not been that happy with her replacement, so I decided to look for a new salon nearby. I dropped in to Pro Nails this morning, shortly after they opened ,for a basic pedicure just to test the waters there. There was only 1 other customer, the owner greeted me and called to the back for the stylist. I waited about 5" while he was on his phone (in plain sight). Then I waited until he prepared the foot spa and again while he gathered his supplies. Ok, 15" in and now we begin~~~ I don't know the gentleman's name, he never spoke to me but rather had his air pods in the whole time. That's ok, I was reading. My feet had only been in the spa less than 3" when he started cutting my nails, yanking on my toes with each trim. When he began to cut the cuticle, I had to pull back several times as he was nipping me with the cuticle scissors. I even gave an audible "ouch" and he tried to tell me he was cutting dead skin! Um, NOT my first pedicure bud. Never cleaned under the nails, no message to the feet (only the legs), never offered water and the polish (my own) was applied poorly so you can plainly see the first layer and the second do not meet, probably because he rushed through the whole process ~~even though the shop still had only one customer being helped be someone else! I don't know if he was new or just completely untrained but that is definitely NOT the way a manicure is done, and I have been having pedicures for over 50 years in many salons in many different cities/states. I would never go back here and will probably return to my old salon where they at least know how to put on a coat of polish correctly.

The place is awful, i went a few times for my nails left completely horrid on the product, tried to go in for eyelash extensions and had 4 workers sitting in their chairs on their phones and wouldn’t service me, sat there for over half and hour before i chose to leave. Horrible service do not go here!

I went to pro nail spa last week in Braintree and I don’t like my nails. I had an appointment at 1 and after an hour and a half my nails are sloppy, uneven and poorly shaped. I got dip with tips like I had before and asked for a sharp almond and payed $50 for them and I just don’t feel they are worth it. I should have said something at the end but I did not have time for her to try and fix them. After soaking my nails off and all the tips disintegrating I asked for new tips and said I didn’t care the cost she insisted that she could fix them. She only would put 3 new nails on which clearly didn’t look the same as the other 7 nails. I left unhappy and refiling my own nails at home. I emailed them hoping they would fix them the next day but I never got a response.

I'm not going to go back. I used to go to this place all the time but then moved to the other side of Braintree. I came back for a refill on Monday with my seven-year-old daughter who wanted to get a manicure. The woman that did my daughter's manicure was so sweet and so nice I gave this facility three stars because the one woman was nice and the selection of colors is great, however, I had the man that did my nails. He grabbed at my hand, yanking them and ended up cutting my fingers right in the crease where it hurts even three days later he also didn't paint the sides of my nails and the top of the fingertip, or even down to the cuticle area and when I pointed that out, he got mad and started talking to the other women working there angrily as if he was mad that he had to do it my nails just look shoddy and they charged me $70 to paint my daughters nails and for me to have a refill I would just recommend not having the man do your nails because he rushed as quick as he could when no one was there anyways I just don't wanna go back and have my fingers cut up

Absolutely great! Very relaxing atmosphere & everything is pretty in white & clean! There are a bunch of polish choices {gel, dip, glow in the dark, matte} the pedis are the BEST they do a special heel gel, hot stone massage & hot towel treatment for a great price! Michele is my fav been a client of hers over 10yrs she does a fantastic job of eyebrows, lashes, pedi & dip .. the other employees are sweet also but i stick to who just tell then what u want!

They used a small knife to take off the layers my dip manicure instead of filing it down. By using the knife they damaged my nail beds and broke a few of my natural nails. When I told them that was painful, they switched to the drill. The drill was a lot better but my nails looked like the second photo- just damaged and brittle. I let them carry out the rest of the manicure and asked them to put tips on the nails they broke, but really I should’ve just trimmed the rest of my nails and gone elsewhere. My nails lasted only about 2 weeks before they broke off on the nail bed.I ended up taking the dip off on my own with a drill and acetone and my nail beds are so incredibly damaged. I should have never gone there to start. I should’ve known better when I saw them take my friends acrylics off by using a fake nail to pop them off.I would not recommend this place at all.

Had a wonderful experience bringing a group of 10 year olds for manicures. Staff was patient and fun, everyone had a great time and left with beautiful nails!

Had an amazing experience with Cindy. She fixed my nails from a bad experience I had with another nail salon. I will recommend for acrylic nail service.

my first and last time at this nail salon. my nail tech was rough and seemed to not know what she was doing, I left with a crooked nail and because she was rushing me she did not properly let my nails set, mind you I got dip and i have never left a nail salon with smears and thumb prints (with dip). Absolutely Horrible service and a waste of money to go to this nail salon.

Okay. I had Ana. She did great service, even if the nail polish didn’t quite go on the best at the edges. Also, toenails were cut a bit too sharp - i had to trim 2 of the nails at home cause they were catching on socks. They look pretty though. The foot massage and wraps were wonderful. And I liked the massage chair.I didn’t really think it was right she added tip without telling me, though. I mean, it was 20% which is what I would’ve tipped, but she just swiped my card with the extra added in without even asking. I mean, really?! I wonder how many people that gets, if they leave a tip on top of that. So 1 star removed for that.Summary: decent service, okay nail polish and trim skills, great foot massage/lotion/wrap skills, adds 20% tip onto bill without asking you.Edit: next day, parts of heels still rough. Oh well, it was nice enough.Edit 2: it’s been almost a week and my big toes still hurt when I put pressure on the sides. There’s some bruising under the nails and polish, along the edges. WTH happened.
