Produce department leaves a lot to be desired! Consistently limp, poor quality. It is the one department in the Braintree Shaw's that is not stocked with fresh, quality product.

The Shaws in Weymouth deli department sold me Dietz and Watson American cheese with not o6, not two, but three hairs in it!!!!
To say i was completely grossed out was an understatement!

The deli department needs more staff. I have never been to any store where this department is always soo understaffed on a regular basis.

I have been food shopping at this store since forever it feels like. I will say the employees are usually wonderful. But this week I went in early around 8 am with my son. He asked to get a donut which we always do. While he was grabbing his donut I was down an isle grabbing English muffins when I realized he was being harassed by a bakery worker named ROSE. I saw her storm out of the bakery like there was an issue go up to my son & storm back. I heard her saying that little boy is stealing. So before I went over to my son I asked her was there an issue. She said your son took a bite of his donut & is stealing… I’m like okay we’re buying it what’s the big deal … she continued to scold me by telling me I should be a better parent and teach my son not to steal. I was so shocked I didn’t know how to react. I couldn’t believe she had confronted a 12 year old minor (walking by me twice not confronting the adult) I told her don’t ever confront a minor again and told me again to be a better parent. I walked away because I wanted to ask my son what happened, by the time I got back over to him he was visibly upset crying… he told me that lady said I was stealing but I told her I was just hungry and that the donut was still in the bag. I told him he didn’t do anything wrong. A worker from outside the bakery saw what was happening and was so sweet told me that this workers behavior was not how they run things there and that she should have never harassed him the way she did. She had me point her out & said the appropriate manager would be made aware. ROSE should be ashamed of herself for harassing a 12 year old boy over a $1.50 donut. We come food shopping here every single week & he looks forward to his treat from the bakery. I remember a time there kids could go up to the bakery and get a free cookie. My son doesn’t ever want to step foot in that store again and I don’t blame him. SHAME ON YOU ROSE. Think twice before accusing & harassing a 12 year old boy of stealing for taking one bite out of a donut his mother was buying !

I've been going to Shaw's for a long time and I love their watermelon but I go to stop & shop and I get more in my turkey meat with bigger slices then Shaw's at the same price they gave me small turkey slices at the same place as stop & shop by stop & shop gives you biggest slices of turkey slices so I ate watermelon today from Shaw's it was horrible it was nasty I don't get what they're doing and it got me sick I don't know if they're putting the old ones on top or whatever they are doing but that was horrible I spent almost an hour and a half on the bathroom toilet bowl and I'm not trying to be nasty but man it was disgusting so I have to get the store a one star they need to start checking that dates when they put the stuff on the floor because it was disgusting and it got me sick I understand they have to save money but damn you people make billions of dollars every year at least you can do is throw out the old stuff and mark the dates when they've been sitting there so people won't get sick because you know when people get sick from a store they contact lawyers and when they have the receipt they will but I'm not that type of guy just check the dates when you put the food on the store floor because you going to end up getting people sick and they will have the receipt when they bought the stuff and it could be a lawsuit because people could get poison so whoever see this as a manager check your dates on the watermelon all the food because people Sue big company like this because they got sick so I used to be the manager for dunkin' donuts and we always check the dates

Crowed aisles with displays, making it difficult to get by. On the carriage wheel, the rubber was coming off, making it bump all along the way. The cashier was very efficient, making check out easy and quick.

I bought a cake/ cupcakes from the Bakery for our family birthday party on Sunday 6/2 24. We did the birthday celebration and the kids all grabbed cupcakes, I also took 1 and it was hard as a rock, got another 1 , same thing. I checked the date on the label, it was made/ decorated on 5/25/24 and sell by date was 5/30/24 .The clerk took it out of the case and packaged it up for me, and never noticed, I was truly disappointed, mad, so no cake or cupcakes for my Sons/ grandsons Birthday celebration.
