This place is only still open because the health department is probably understaffed and hasn’t been here since the new owners took over. It’s unfortunate all the small markets across the Cape that used to be so high-quality have been sold and quality has dramatically declined while prices have dramatically increased.

First time visiting Ferretti’s and we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered the Turkey Gobbler sandwich (on sourdough bread) and it reminded us of the Thanksgiving day after sandwich. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating.and we will be back tomorrow!

It’s really too bad. This place was an institution. Used to be the best butcher on the cape as well as deli. Ownership changed hands a couple of years who and the new owners don’t care as much. Butcher is barely stocked, and they don’t give 3 slices of bread in the sandwiches anymore, making it just like any old deli at this point. I have to find a new place to get sandwiches for the beach now :(

Ferretti's is a exactly as I remember it being 20 years ago: best sandwiches on the Cape, on premises butcher, and a little bit of anything else you need in the way of groceries. The personal service and friendly atmosphere make this my favorite market.

Updated 2024: prices are outrageous, $23.99 for a 4pk of beers that are ordinarily $15.99 is just frivolous. Inflation/new ownership is failing this place, a Brewster institution that I grew up going to. Staff not very kind either. Very sad.

Had chicken breasts last week, as soon as I open the bag I was smacked in the face with one of the most rancid smells i've ever experienced. I don't ever really give bad reviews but this was pathetic. Not even worth going back for refund, been long time customer but place has been declining for awhile now and this was it, just not going to go back. No way this chicken ever should have been placed in the bag and sold. Terrible

Wonderful small grocery store for all of the staples. The meat counter is of the highest quality. My summer grilling has never been better. Likewise in the deli, the meats are all Boar's Head, and super fresh. Nice selection of wines and beers for those desperate Friday nights, as well. Raj and family - please keep up the good work, you have become a hidden gem in Brewster!
