German performance advised me on a preventative fix for my 2016 I3 recently. After pre-ordering part (air conditioner compressor) they had me in and turned the job around in a day. The car is running great and I have the confidence that my car will be trouble free for years to come. Thanks GPS

I have held off leaving my review for eight months; but NOT leaving one kept nagging at me. I know the reviews for this place are good but that was not my experience with GPS. I sent my car up there to be mechanically restored to a “safe and reliable condition”; but after 4 weeks/$8k I had to send it back-b/c they gave it back to me with my hood literally stuck shut and my driver’s door VERY unaligned. Further, my driver’s tail light compartment lie on the trunk’s floor. And though this isn’t a “big” deal, the digital clock which always worked perfectly, suddenly never worked again-b/c I can no longer set the time. The mechanism on my dash has lost its connection.
Side note: the mechanic who worked on my car, Chris, helped himself to my original chrome kidney grilles which were in a box (in my trunk) ever since I had swapped them out myself. I got them back after asking where they went. Turns out they were on his work bench. NOT cool.
SECOND time- I had to wait another almost two weeks/$1k. Got it back only to have my drive train completely malfunction one week later. I’m talking I heard a pop, my steering wheel locked up, battery light came on and under the hood was smoking and all the antifreeze leaked out. The serpentine belt had let go. THANKFULLY this happened in a parking lot and not on the road.
I called GPS and not only did they take their time getting back to me VIA EMAIL, turns out they had never checked the drive train! I went elsewhere to have all THAT fixed.
GPS’ work was shoddy (not only my opinion but that of two mechanics who have since fixed it) and when I showed them pictures of the moisture issue inside my back window AFTER they removed the old seal and installed a new one, they tried to tell me it was likely due to my sunroof. NOT the case. This is my “NEW sealant” (see pics). Also, I needed my back window’s brake light HOUSING (plastic) replaced. They charged me $500 b/c they also replaced the perfectly good brake light. I got my car back dirty inside, BOTH TIMES. I have much more to say but I am TRYING to be succinct.
After my experiences here, I do NOT recommend GPS.
My car is old with 125k miles and very clean. I’ve had it forever.

Excellent work replacing valve cover and rear brake pads on 328i. Much less expensive than Herb Chambers.

Reliable, knowledgable, and professional — really a rare shop. Mike is great with customer service — very responsive and knows what he is doing. And the techs do a fantastic job. I trust these guys way more than the dealer techs. Oh, and all at a great price given the quality of service they offer.

I had my Porsche towed 60 miles to have this crew replace the tiptronic transmission on my 2000 Boxster. There were multiple alternative shops available closer to my home, but the initial conversations with GPSI made it clear that they had the experience and knowledge base to do the job efficiently and professionally. It's always a pleasure to get the straight story and then receive service that exceeds your expectations. Top notch technicians!

I had the best experience here!
I went in first thing in the morning without an appointment to have my car checked. Even though it was not worked on, they advised me to go back to the service team familiar with my car's history to assess the issue.
Both Mikes were incredibly kind and helpful, from helping me with the oil I purchased to the owner Mike coming outside to do a quick engine rev test. He was very patient in explaining to me the possible issues that could be happening and gave my advice on next steps which put my already anxious mind at ease.
I was hesitant at first about trying a new service center, but their professionalism and attentiveness were first class. I will definitely recommend them to anyone with a BMW.

I could tell from the moment I spoke with GPS on the phone I could tell this would become my go-to mechanic in the future for my 3 series. Took a look at the car and gave me advice on safe modifications as well as wheel fitments at no charge. Highly recommend. Will be taking my car here for all maintenance.

Had an unusual request for my 16 Porsche Cayman GTS to upload a GT3 power steering coding. Mark communicated the potential pro's and con's of change that might occur....$44.75 later, could not have been happier. I will be back for more service!
