You can really judge a business by how they handle a mistake, and Johnson Paint handles them beautifully. A less experienced employee made a minor error regarding the paint finish, but Justin went above and beyond to correct it: he gave me more than I'd asked for without any additional charge. He was generous, friendly, and wonderfully helpful. I'd recommend this store, and Justin in particular. I'll be back!”

We have been going to Coolidge Hardware for over 30 years for high quality paint, paint brushes, hardware (screws, locks, keys...) and advice. I once brought a small chip off of an old wall we were repairing, and they were able to match the paint EXACTLY. Always professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful!”
“PLEASE READ: I called this place a few weeks ago and asked them about a specific kind of paint.
One of the representatives told me they don't have that, but they remembered my specifications.
After 20 minutes my phone rings unexpectedly and it is the same representative calling me back to tell me exactly what I needed to get! Recommended the brand, the store I should get it from etc.
I have never seen anything like this before. He knew I wouldn't be spending money in their store, but STILL took the time to research and then call back to help me out... this is what exceptional customer service looks like!
I ended up using the recommended product and it was a wonderful choice. I had to call back and thank them for it and the least I could do is to leave this review for everyone else to know the level of customer support that you get from this place.

“These guys were great - we had a color mix up (computer not human error) and I was so impressed. They were able to adjust the already custom paint color to bring it into an acceptable match. That takes some skill. They stand behind their product. My go-to paint store from now on.”
“If I could, I would give this store six stars! We were looking for an uncommon paint that multiple Home Depot locations just couldn't help with. Some said the paint was discontinued, while others told me the paint code I had was wrong. I looked on line and saw this store fairly near to where I live. We walked in, and the gentleman working immediately asked us if we needed help? I told him just the paint code and he immediately said all the other details by heart! My wife and I were shocked! This man was a true professional and an expert in his field. He promptly went over and grabbed the paint for us. He asked us if we needed it shaken? He was already walking over to the machine as he asked us. This was the fastest, most fluid retail interaction I have had in years! He quickly helped us get rollers and other bits of kit to finish our project. No lie, I think we were in the store less than 7 minutes! My wife was so shocked at how great this representative was, she said out loud "So Professional!" Excellent experience!”

“I can't say enough good things about this hardware store. Unlike Lowe's or Home Depot, there's always knowledgeable staff available to answer any questions or to assist customers as needed. All of the staff are absolutely amazing and have always gone above and beyond, in my opinion. “My top destination for paint. Always get good quality paint, color mixing, etc here. They also have other highest-tier quality products for wood finishing - urethanes, spar urethanes, polys, shellac, etc. They're very knowledgeable in paint and pretty knowledgeable in wood stains/finishes. Folks at Rockler might be more opinionated regarding wood clearcoat finishes if are looking for that sort of advice, though have yet to personally test finishes/techniques.”
