“Stop looking and go here. I live in Kentucky and I was traveling home from Boston and broke down on I-90 near Sturbridge. Based on the online reviews, I had my car towed to Five Star. They understood I was passing through and needed to get back on the road, so they took me right in. He diagnosed my bad alternator and called several parts stores until he finally found one. He had it fixed in record time and even cleaned and sprayed my battery terminals. You can tell he is a people person and cares about the customer in addition to being a fabulous mechanic. The price was very fair and service was outstanding. If I lived there, they would get all of my business. Please note: this is not an AI generated review!”

“Dave and his brother have always been extremely helpful. Whenever I have gone in and have had questions on parts or diagnosing an issue, their patience and help is unlike anyone. They’ve always treated me with respect and honesty whenever doing business with them. I had an issue on my salter and went to them to ask what part I was going to need to fix it, and with the possibility of it being 2 issues, Dave squeezed me in at the end of the day on a Friday just before a storm and had me all fixed up and ready to go. I’m super thankful for that. The most genuine people I know, can’t recommend them enough!”
“I don't leave many reviews, but I have to say that my interaction with Nesco was great.
My vehicle was damaged by another driver & I needed an auto body shop to service it.
From the start I was greated by McColl & Kevin. They took time to look over the vehicle & explain to me what they would need to do & approximately how long it would take. They are a busy shop,but found time to service my vehicle within a week.
I was going through the other person's insurance for payment & Nesco made it very easy for them to deal with directly.
The job done on my vehicle was great & it's like it never happened.
I would recommend them to anyone looking for an honest & fair body shop”

“Had an issue with my lower rear bumper cover and had to have it be replaced or repaired with their autobody shop. I can't get over how well of a job they did on it for me,never mind the low price. They were alot lower than I had thought they would be on the price. Gave me a price and they stuck with it. I actually feel a little guilty not paying them more. Dont hear that very often.U can't even tell where the repair was done. What an awesome job! I've been going to country auto for years and I've always been treated very well. And I give them 5 stars too for helping my 87 yr young father out with his SUV down there too. I thank all of you at country auto for such great work in the body shop and the mechanics shop”

“Took my 2017 Chevy Trax in after an engine overheating light came on. From the ladies in the office to the techs working on the vehicle- everyone was so kind and informative. They seemed genuinely concerned about my safety driving the vehicle, motivated to fix it promptly and offered very fair pricing. They alerted me to some upcoming service needs without pressuring me to book right away. So impressed with the overall experience. “I really appreciated the time and effort Al took to help me out when my car's axle rusted away, and I had to have my car towed. I towed the car to Al based on the recommendation of a good samaritan who stopped to help. Due to the age and mileage of my car, Al took the time to research the repair. He was straight up and honest about everything, allowing me to make an informed decision. I'm glad I found Al as I had not been having much luck finding an honest mechanic after my prior mechanic had recently sold his business. Definitely would recommend talking to Al if you need your car repaired, or need an honesty mechanic.”
“Had a nail in my tire and losing air fast. They were able to help me instantly. Even postponing their lunch Also don’t put aluminum valve stem covers on without a plastic insert. Couldn’t get them off to put air in. Ended up having to replace valve stems. Will definitely come back for a new set of tires here.”
“My experience with fijols went great. Answered the phone and met my needs. This salvage yard will still let you go out back an remove a part from a junk car. As long as u call them an give em a heads up. Unlike LKQ over in Webster, there a corporate company, and have all these rules an laws! HELLO! It's a junk yard not the new York stock exchange. I bet you the CEO of LKQ grew up with a silver spoon in his or her mouth, and if he or she ever stepped foot into a junk yard, there 2000 dollar Penny loafers would be coverd

“Like others who've posted similar reviews, I overheated on the highway and was lucky enough to see A Plus right off the exit. Bob immediately made himself available to open the hood and diagnose potential causes. He was professional, fair, and honest. I left my truck with him and to his word, he had it fixed the next day at the estimated price he had given me. His communication was great as well as his service the next day when I picked it up. He also gave me a ride down the road to Enterprise. Overall, great work and outstanding service. I'd highly recommend.”

“I picked up a new to me 2005 Ford Excursion 6.0L PSD over the summer, and once the cold weather came it was apparent that there was an issue since we had no heat in the cab. John and Dan quickly diagnosed the issue and offered great suggestions on other items to check/replace while the body was off the frame for repairs. Given my budget and the extensive repair needed to restore the heat, I was unable to go with all their suggestions at the time. Needless to say I am headed back there for more repairs that they strongly suggested I make, but finances wouldn’t allow. And don’t get me wrong, these guys prices are extremely fair, I would say if you are in the need of diesel repairs in the Palmer area, this should be your go-to repair shop!”

Just had all my brakes done and they have never worked so good and the same thing with my husband’s truck, no one could fix his brakes right, took it to Bernie and now they work great! They get it done quickly and if possible they will deliver your car back to you. It is hard to find good mechanics but I highly recommend them!”
