Absolutely zero communication. The owner doesn't even reply to reviews on here because they simply don't care. Time sensitive medication simply not being sent out on time with zero communication. Who does that? If you want to never receive your meds on time then this Is the pharmacy for you

I had a prescription requested at a lower dose due to the side affects profile. The phone service got back to me quickly and was very pleasant! However they stated they could not make the prescription due to the prescription being too small. I called another local pharmacy and they were able to create the requested dosage no problem.

I have never worked with a pharmacy that is so inconsistent and quite frankly, horrible. Operating a treatment program and expecting medication‘s to be delivered on time is not asking too much, it’s what’s expected. Several times medication has been delivered and the bag is marked wrong, the medication is marked wrong, wrong dose, or medication is for people who aren’t with the program. It adds 10 hours a week to our work flow because we are tracking down errors that stem from Apothecare. Zero communication when meds are out of stock or a prior authorization is needed leaves my patients high and dry for days at a time. Interviewing other pharmacies.

Running a group home and receiving everything you need from Apothecare is like seeing a shooting star. It is very rare. The only consistency is all negative. They barely answer the phone, they say they close at 9pm well good luck getting them to answer phone calls after 4pm. They're always messing up med sheets even when there's no changes and then tell you to fix their mistakes. Then when you ask to speak to the person who does the med sheets they literally cry on the phone to you attempting to prompt you to feel sorry for them. This has been very aggravating. The company is attempting to move on from Apothecare but this couldn't happen fast enough!

Apothecare sucks. I have such a hard time getting Glucerna for my mom who is paralyzed and needs to be fed through feeding tube when she refuses to eat. Doctors forward all required documents and they still don't get her rx ready. They call and ask if I still need it. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I contacted them again and the staff was very arrogant and didn't care. This has been since Nov 2022 and still waiting.

Had them as my primary pharmacy for the last two years, never had a major issue. Meds were always delivered on time, and when I got out of hospital, they delivered my meds the next day.

Frustrating pharmacy to work with. It’s clear they are severely understaffed and unable to safely handle any pharmacy needs. Speaking to an actual person is almost impossible. While most of the staff I have had the lucky chance to speak with are kind - all of the promises made are never fulfilled. Delivery drivers are also kind, but most of the time are late. So much so - you miss a medication window time (by hours)Edit: The physical location appears to be much worse for pick up. Waiting at window 10,15, 20+ min plus. Had to return several times to pick up a script that was promised several times but never delivered.

We have been using Apothecare for about seven or so years. It has been difficult over the past year or so. Deliveries arrive at all hours. Our latest was 12:15am. Communication is non existent. If you try to call they often push you to voice-mail. Not once has our voice-mail ever been acknowledged. I always call back day after day until I can actually get a live person. When you do get one they are rude and miserable. You rarely get your whole script at once. Many times they come back a few nights later at later hours to deliver the remainder. Refrigerated needs come hot. Like they've spent hours in a hot car. And to think they support patients on hospice. They really don't show that they care about their patience which is so disappointing. Those who are most vulnerable depend on them. I've spoken with Steve the pharmacist and he's mean and miserable too so it doesn't surprise me the rest of the staff treats their patients the same way. Unfortunately after all these years we are going to have to seek a pharmacy who cares for those they serve.

What is up with them not picking up the phone? I run a residential program and I can never speak to anyone to check on delivery of my clients meds. Thank goodness my organization is changing Pharmacy due to their lack of proper delivery and struggles with talking to a live person.

This company has been a blessing for my family. Communication is always good. Quality of service and product is great. I rely on them regularly and would highly recommend them.

My mother's meds were supposed to be delivered Saturday. I waited until 10:00 in the evening. No meds. When I called pharmacy in the morning ,(Actually started calling at 8 a.m., left a message and no one returned my call) I finally was able to reach a person around 11:30 a.m. I was told that the meds went out for delivery at 5:oo p.m. on Saturday and the person I was speaking to, (I'll call her "K") said it would take her probably an hour to get in touch with courier service. Anyway, K hung up the phone on me, so I never got a time estimate when meds would arrive. Thanks K for such great personal customer service! My mother is dying and in light of that, I'll always remember the outstanding treatment I got from Apothecare pharmacy and the filling of my mother's hospice medicine.

Very disappointed with this "Pharmacy", If you can actually call it that. This "pharmacy" never has any medications in stock and It is a constant struggle working with them every day and having to rely on them. On several occasions i have had employees tell me different things regarding the same situation and promise medication will be delivered and they weren't. When Ive called back the next person has no idea and tells me another different story and it is a viscous cycle. By not having an effective system to ensure you have medications in stock you are creating unnecessary chaos for the health care providers you work with as well as causing possible harm to people who need medications and cant receive the medications.

If you can use any other pharmacy do it. I wouldnt wish this place on my worst enemy. Communication is poor (even if you have used them for months) there is absolutely no respect of anyones time frame (like if you have a 2 year old child that is 6 doses late of a med you are still last on the list so its 8 doses missed while doctors look down on you) if it came at 7 instead of 9:05 pm it could have been administered but they are not true to time scales. If you call a day in advance they still need 24 hours from when they check messages which can be an added 12-24 hours after you called. I have never had such poor communication with anything medical related ever they do not care about the patients.
