“Where do I even begin...?? Messiah Baptist Church is where my husband and I got BAPTIZED back on 05/05/2024. With my husband and I being in our 30s and the rest of members being older you would think it would be 'boring side'!? NOT even close! This Church is the PERFECT example of being the IDEAL place to worship our Heavenly Father and The one and only Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Pastor Alicia along with my Pastor Victoria Pina baptized my husband and myself before our little Church family as well their members. This is the PERFECT place to have an spiritual awaking. The beautiful members that sang, the drum player and the surmon that Pastor Alicia spoke touched not only my heart but spoke to my soul. “This has been my parish since 1999 and we welcome everyone in. I've been thru 3 pastors with Father Tom Boudreau as the last. He did a wonderful job burying my ex-husband last week, the family kept it extra small bcuz of COVID-19. The church also absorbed St Joseph's over in Holbrook, so father does 1/2 duty here in Avon and then over to St Joseph's. The parish is very involved with the local food pantry, has one of the best craft fairs in the area , I highly recommend this church if your looking for a new church where you/ your family can become adopted into our church family ...it doesn't take long for you to feel like you've always been amongst us.”
