I went to harbor one on legion parkway to cash a check, Rebecca the teller ask for the check and my ID to cash it. After about three minutes of me standing waiting, she was typing something then she looks at me and say’s she can’t cash my check. I said why is that, she said I need two forms of ID. I had been in the week before and cashed a check with just one form of ID. The inconsistency in the banks rules and ability for them to pick and choose who and when they want to serve a customer is unethical.

Employees are liars. I went in to cash two checks for one of their customers and the woman at the desk refused to help me. Even with proper identification. Claiming I needed two forms of id. After investigating three other locations of the same bank in the surrounding areas, I found out that she simply didn't want to do her job. All three other locations provided me with the services needed.

Harbor one is a great bank but the service at this location is the worst. I don’t understand how the bank is open and you see two people sitting waiting for customer service and 1 teller and 2 others are out here chit chatting and when you ask its “they will be right with you” Uhm where ? cuz every cubicle is empty. Horrible. Just Horrible.

When I was a kid and just deposited birthday money from grandma into my savings, I thought harbor one was great. Now that I'm older and actually use my bank frequently, I have learned that harbor one is quite possibly the worst bank in the world. -it's damn near impossible to find a harbor one ATM so you will inevitably end up paying countless ATM fees. -when you do find a harbor one ATM there's a 50% chance it will be out of service -they LOVE to take money out of your account without telling you. $30 fees are their bread and butter. Get used to looking at your account and seeing them chip away day by day. -customer service is awful. This past year I was obtaining a mortgage through harbor one and when my Loan officer was fired, no one from harbor one contacted me to inform me or set me up with someone else. This caused serious delays in my closing process and as a result I was left scrambling to find a competent lender at the last minute. Bottom line- you may think that you'll get better service at a local bank like harbor one as compared to a Bank of America or chase, but you will not. Do yourself a favor and never do business with this institution.
