Horrendous Experience. Went to bank (West Side) tonight (2/15/2024) to cash a money order before closing. The first teller (No name plates) she had cat eye liner, was so into my account that she had to tell me about an account I was not dealing with. She told me one of my accounts was in the red and she was trying to save me a $35 fee. I told her if she was so in to my account she would see there's a direct deposit pending. I'm beside myself because it's a conversation that can be overheard. I asked to speak to a manager. While speaking to manager the money order comes to me unsigned. My response was if she was doing her job rather all inside my account, she would have noticed. If I did not request to speak to a manager, I would have left and she would not had a purchaser signature on the money order. So, the manager took up for her typing in my account not to notify me when I'm in the red. Whatever. I get home to find that the deposit that was made was put in my daughter's checking account and not my savings. I'm red ? upset now, because I have to go into work late to straighten this out. I'm looking for another bank, appreciate any suggestions. My paycheck is state deposited.

I am disabled I live off a fixed income which is not very much I was scammed. A little over a $1000 I had no choice but to sign the papers saying I would pay it back if I did not they would have took all my money Needless to say I signed under duress I hadn't choice. They took a little over a $100 out of my account every month the last payment they took almost 300 I am Diabetic i could not afford groceries for a month!! I was sick for a month due to not eating properly I explained it to my branch location about my disabilities and financial issues and was told oh well pay it. I have had HarborOne bank for over 10 years Never really any issues but honestly I am thinking about changing Banks. A big company like this does not care about the little people like us all they want Is their money . I do not nor will I bank with a bank that doesn't have the customer's interests in mind ..IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO MONEY MONEY MONEY...SAD

Stay away from this mf bank they always find someway to charge you and if they cancel a transfer they'll still take the money out

While branch officials were friendly and helpful the fraud department is operating outside the law as if they were law enforcement agents. They are a private company and should advise but not pretend to be law officers. I deposited postal money orders and the froze my account for almost two weeks claiming to check if they were forged or stolen. I had the post office receipt and they ignored that fact. They then cancelled my account because I complained. I had to transfer to another bank.

They tried to tell a dear friend of mine that had refinanced their home that there was an error in the calculations and that she would need to pay an extra $400 a month on her payments for 24 months. She automatically felt something was wrong because she went through with the refinancing with the figures that they provided and now they are trying to do such a large increase when she pays on time and full price. The lady that she was speaking to then gave her the option of paying $300 increase for 36 months but she didn’t agree to that also. So she was supposed to have a manager call her at a later date but when she realized that no had called her she called the bank to find that the lady she had spoken to sent her to collection. So now she’s trying to get this fixed and has contacted the attorney general for assistance on the matter.

customer service on phone is rude.they call me asking about payment when it's not do or couple days late. they dont want to tell me anything when they call and ask for my husband even tho I make the payments and when I ask if I can make a payment they refuse me and still try to ask for the husband I know it's for my truck but they wont tell me nothing and it's my phone there calling once my truck is paid off I will no longer be doing business with harbor one

I've never had any issues with Coastway before they were purchased by HarborOne. Coastway was always a great locally owned bank with amazing staff.

Be positive
