What good is taking your dog to a vet every year but then having to take your dog to a urgent care vet every time it gets sick. Third time this has happened. This place has to many clients or to few vets. Expansion of facilities have made it worse for your pet.

All four of my dogs go to JM Pet Vet for their healthcare needs, and they are great! This review however is about the retail store that is attached to the clinic. My labrador is 10 years old and has been struggling pretty severely with arthritis in her hips. After her laser treatment this week I stopped in at the retail store to look for salmon oil. They have an amazing selection so I was sure they'd have what I needed. The best part though, was meeting a super knowledgeable and helpful animal nutritionist who is on staff! She gave me fabulous advice about supplements for my dog, nutrition advice for helping her to lose some weight, and overall support about ways to help my dog feel better as quickly as possible. Her name is Crystal (the nutritionist, not my dog!), and if you need nutrition advice to help your pet live their longest and happiest lives, you should make a point to go by and speak with her. I'm happy I did!

Wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my veterinary needs. Everyone cares tons about animals and their owners. I've told all my friends about this clinic.

I'm impressed with how personalized this place is... there are so many pets/customers, yet we feel that the staff have really gotten to 'know' our dogs. I like how you don't have to call or even plan in advance for daycare. The 'add-ons,' including shots, that save me a trip to our own vet are an added bonus. Highly recommend!

Wonderful people were very kind to my pup! She went in for her rabies and nail clipping. All was done so quick and so easy. The people there actually care for your pet.... Prices vary

I lost my 10 month old puppy, Frankie a few months ago. Frankie went in for basic neuter surgery and to have his nasal passages expanded with a laser treatment at JM Pet Vet in Brockton, Ma. This procedure is common in frenchies and was recommended by the Vets at JM Pet Vet to ensure the best quality of life. 3 hours post procedure Frankie began to show signs of sepsis. By the following morning Frankie was in an emergency hospital receiving oxygen to treat pneumonia and medications to treat sepsis. Unfortunately his little body was not strong enough and he went into septic shock 12 hours later and needed to be laid to rest. During this time I received numerous phone calls from Jm Pet Vets owner, insisting that this was not a result of her staffs negligence and that I just had a "sick dog". The lack of empathy was disturbing and disheartening. I received no compensation for the emergency bills, not even an offer to refund the surgery that ultimately caused all of this. Please choose wisely when finding a place to operate on your fur babies. I know where my family and friends will NEVER be taking a pet again.

My dog goes to daycare here 3 days a week and never comes home dirty or smelly. I can tell he also really likes going. The report cards are a nice feature so you know how your dog is doing. Webcams could be better tho it’d hard to see anything. They also do a good job with grooming and the vets there seem to know what they’re doing and seek to love animals.

Absolutely love JM Pet Resort! They are so good with our reactive dog and we’ve seen a difference in him after going for just a couple weeks! I know my dog is safe while he is there (especially seeing how involved the owner of the resort is in trying to pass Ollie’s law!) and there is a vet on site (along with groomers, trainers, nutritionists! The resort has everything you could want or need for your dog!). They have cameras if you want to check on your pup too! The facility is beautiful inside and out and the staff are always happy to see us. Thank you, JM! :)

Thank you for all you guys do at JM! Our dog gets so excited to come whether it’s for daycare or overnight! It’s so nice to see her run right in considering she needed like three employees to help her get in on her first day. Your kindness and care is much appreciated and shows through her eagerness to come back each time!

My dog Taco was in for a boarding stay.1. I LOVE that they have the pet cams to you can check in on your furry friend. I saw my little man mooching all the lovin he could mooch.2. The staff noticed that he was going to be up for a vaccination very soon and made it super convenient and inexpensive to get that done while he was there for boarding.3. He had a comfortable place to sleep and quality people to look after him.JM Pet Resort is 100% our go to for boarding or day care. We would also make it our primary vet but we live kinda far away.

These guys were amazing with my reactive girl. They are affordable and give me good advice that will allow my dog to have a safe and happy upbringing. Very grateful for these guys realizing not all dogs are perfect.

Great veterinary clinic, Resort and Daycare. They make you feel like you're one big family and it's a great feeling knowing your pet is in very good hands and getting treated in such a loving way. I love this place and I won't take my pets anywhere else

This evening I had to make the very difficult decision to help my best friend Xena, find eternal peace. I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate and loving nurse and doctor. They allowed me all the time I needed to say goodbye to my friend, both before and after.I've been going to JM for 13 years now and they seem to be getting better and better. I'm not sure if another dog is in my future, but I do know that if I do decide to rescue another dog, I'd never even consider going to any other vet or daycare!Thank you to everyone who works at JM, you made a very difficult day a lot easier to handle.

I brought my cat to the clinic for the second time since I got him (one checkup and another for being sick). They are very busy, but super nice and my cat likes them. The assistant wrapped him in a towel and held him. He loved every minute. They even called the next day to see if he was feeling better, which he was!

On Wednesday, July 19th, 2023, at about 8:30 am I dropped off my two cats at JM Pet Resort. I brought their food with instructions on which food to feed and when they should be fed, along with their bowls. I hate having to bring my cats anywhere because I know how stressful it can be for them, but I had no choice this time. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a very nice lady at the front desk. She told me that someone would be there soon to bring my cats upstairs. I asked if I could go with the employee, and they agreed. Before bringing them upstairs, I asked if she wanted me to bring the bag with the food and bowls with me and she said no because she needed to chart it. I went upstairs, there were maybe four other cats there, three of them meowing non-stop. I left my babies and went about my day. At 7:30 pm, almost 12 hours later, I went back to get them. I waited for about 20 minutes, and they were finally brought down. I thanked them and left. On our way to the car, I noticed that they did not have their bowls with them so I went back to see if they could find it. Well, it wasn’t so hard after all, as the bag with not only the bowls, but their FOOD was sitting on the floor, behind the desk, untouched. I asked the front desk employee if that meant that they weren’t fed, and she said yes and apologized. She asked me for my name, I gave it to her, and I left in disbelief. I waited until Friday, two days later, to call and ask to speak with a supervisor because I wanted to give them time to call me. I spoke to the front desk supervisor or something and as soon as I started to explain to her the situation, she interrupted me and told me that she was aware of it. She then apologized, said that she doesn’t understand how their food didn’t make it upstairs, and told me the vice president would be contacting me soon. It’s been 10 days since that phone call, and I haven’t been contacted. I understand that mistakes happen, but what I don’t understand is why nothing has been done to make up for it. It’s pretty clear that most of their money comes from dog day care but cats deserve love and attention just as much. If they are not willing to provide quality care for them why even bother offering it at all? My cats stayed there for less than 24 hours, but can you imagine the ones that stay there for days? So, cat parents, I urge you to think twice before bringing your cat to this facility, and if you ultimately need to, please call daily to check in on your babies and make sure they are being well taken care of. This place will never see my cats again. They deserve better!
