Ordered tires through TireRack, shipped to the store. Paid to have them mounted and balanced, they were not balanced. All the rims had the wheights removed, they did not put any wheights back on. There was a distinct vibration when going over 50mph. Avoid this place, how can you screw up a simple mount and balance?

Made appt. For 9:00 a.m. at 4:00p.m. I had to go in and find out what was happening. Just there for an oil change. Called 2x while it was there but they say they had the wrong number. Terrible service!

This used to be a great place, so I regret having to write this post. The last time I went in for a simple oil change, I came to pick up my car at the end of the day. I noticed when I touch my door handle that my hand was oily. Upon further inspection, I noticed the whole handle was covered in grease as well as parts of the door. Once inside the car, I noticed there was oil all over the center console as well as my light gray seats. I went back inside and asked what had happened to my car. The rep up front made me wait in line again before addressing the issue. He then sent out a mechanic to clean up the mess, no apology, no nothing. The mechanic comes out with a bottle that says “brake fluid” on it. He starts spraying it all over the exterior and interior of my car. I ask him what he is doing and he assures me he is using “cleaning liquid”. It spreads the oil all over the place and is making the situation worse, so I tell him to leave. I go back inside once again. The rep makes me wait in line once again. I tell him what happened. He said there is nothing they can do, no refund, no more customer service. He then tells me he won’t engage with me until I stop being so “angry”. I then just left and had the car cleaned myself. These people are disgusting, lazy, and have no sense of customer service. If I had the time and energy, I’d take them to court. Do not go here.

I stopped in here last week and asked if they did tire repairs/plugs. The gentleman at the desk said they did but it would be hours before they could get to my car. He then offered to come out and look at it to make sure that’s what I needed. Cool! As we are approaching the car he was already saying it couldn’t be fixed. This was shocking to me since he barely looked at. He very confidently told me that it could not be repaired and that I needed a whole new tire. In addition to the tire I originally came in for he also told me I would need to change the fronts ones too. Again, scratching my head because I don’t know how you decide from one glance that I needed 3 new tires but that’s what he told me. He started to ramble on and on about the tread and that’s when it became crystal clear to me what this really was about. I may not be a mechanic, but I do know the difference in a tire that has tread and one that doesn’t. Also, as someone who keeps their regularly scheduled maintenance appointments if there were an issue with my tires my TRUSTED service center would have already brought this to my attention. Needless to say, I went to my regular auto service center when they reopened and was told that there was a nail in the tire and that it just needed a $25 plug not a new tire. If you didn’t have time to do it just say that. There is nothing I dislike more than dishonesty or people trying to take advantage of other people. This place is a hard NO for me. If you are thinking of going here I would strongly suggest that you get somebody else to do it.

Terrible place. I went here a few times and told myself they were doing good work for my car. I was wrong. The most recent time I brought my car was the worst mistake of my life. I bring the car in for a bad radiator fan and a brake light. I brought it in Wednesday morning, called out of work and everything to get this done. Wednesday night I call the shop (because they refuse to communicate after you give them your car) and find out the mechanic who was diagnosing my car had a ‘family emergency’ and left. In this shop full of mechanics not a soul continued his work, they just let my car sit there for another day in the middle of his diagnostics. The next day they apparently look at the car, they want to run me almost $4,500 for all these issues they found and listed off to me. I asked them to fix what I brought it in to be fixed for. They said I really needed a new brake line and I told them fine and asked if it could be finished that day, Thursday. They told me most likely but it could go into Friday. I tell them fine and to let me know. Near closing time I give them a call back (because they’re allergic to updating you about your car) and they tell me they couldn’t finish but it’d be all set Friday. Friday comes along and after a whole day of working I call the shop. They tell me they’re having a hard time bleeding my brakes. Begrudgingly I gave these idiots another day. Saturday comes and I was told to expect a call first thing in the morning. I should’ve known better because 7 hours after they opened I had to call them again. They told me they brought in a master mechanic, still couldn’t bleed my brakes, and ordered the wrong brake light switch. They asked if I was fine being a pedestrian for another 2 days and they’d work towards completing the job on Monday. I asked them if the car was drivable, Francois over the phone told me sure so I tell him I’m picking the car up to be returned to them Monday since it was going to sit the rest of Saturday and all of Sunday unworked anyway and they tell me sure and they’ll leave the key in the car. I go to get my car a few hours later and they’re closed. I turn on my car and I’m getting a brake light pop up on my dashboard. I start pulling out of the lot and I start hearing clocks everytime my tire rotates and the car wants to pull me to the right really bad. None of this bodes well so Sunday I start looking at my car in depth. I needed work on my front suspension (specifically axels as they were giving out) before I took the car in and now my whole front suspension is entirely shot from axels to tie rods to control arms. There’s a piece of my exhaust literally removed from the car (which I don’t understand how a gaping hole is not reported to me when listing off problems with my car), these bums marked up my front right tire with paint then put in 2 nails with washers on them so they’d jingle every rotation so I’d think something was wrong with the car, but a drill bit through my rear left tire, did not reconnect my brake sensors so dash would stay lit, ripped off the part of my trunk mat that covered my car battery and just left it laying in my trunk for me to find, and my radiator has somehow began leaking curiously after having never once leaked before even on the day I brought it in. After examining my car I call up the shop Monday and they tell me the correct brake light switch just came in then they hang up on me. I call them right back and told them about all these new problems my car suddenly has after getting it back from them and how I’m concerned and their response was ‘okay. We’ll check it out.’ Then hung up again. The whole experience was unbelievably unprofessional. They took every instance they could to show me that they really could care less about my car. They’d stop looking at the car I was paying them to work on to work on other cars that came into the shop after and prolonged how long they’d have my car. From Wednesday to the end of Saturday they had me wait while none of the things I came to get fixed were fixed and in fact more problems were created.

I drive a high end 2021 Audi and the manager gave me a similar comparable price to the Civic customer who posted prior. The manager gave me a very reasonable price and compared to Dealership the price is extraordinarily lower. The manager took the time to explain to me my options in brake packages, also explained the features and benefits which explains the the price packages. He also offered finance, in which Dealerships dont have. I have been a customer for a long time in this location, and in owning a very expensive vehicle i find this location to be reasonable in pricing. In closing i really enjoy the service, the warmth welcoming and the honesty they provide the minute i walk in. The manager was very courteous and very professional, and in todays time. Its hard to find such individuals.Highly recommend this Monro in Brockton. Regardless of its negative reviews. Good service its hard to find, and you cant put a price on that. Thanks for reading

Went to get an estimate for brake pads and rotors for the front of my 2014 Honda Civic and was told it would cost $650 each side. $1300! And when I asked about the high price, I was told they "shine it, grease it and keep it nice and clean." Not even the dealer charge that much!

Went to Monroe after another tire place told me 'well, your tires look uneven, the vibration could be caused by abroken tie rod, etc.,. The tech at Monroe balanced the tire, and just like that, the vibration was gone. They also mount tires that are not purchased at their location. Friendly, fast, and reasonable.
