I went to this location to have my Subaru inspected and the gentleman there failed the car on the inspection because he stated that the rear seatbelt wouldn’t secure or latch. He suggested that I get it repaired which led to me calling several Subaru service centers and local garages to schedule appointments to have the latch looked at. After bringing it to the Mastria Subaru in Raynham (which is an amazing service center by the way!) they told me that the inspection should have passed because of the latches were working perfectly fine and simply noted that the inspector must have missed one of the belt buckles because he was trying to put the wrong belt into the wrong latch. I returned to this location for the replacement sticker because the inspector promised me that if I brought it back within 60 days, there would be no charge to have the sticker updated and corrected. Upon my arrival, I explained to him that there was no issue with the latch as he had reported and that I’d like to have the sticker corrected because it had only been two weeks since the original inspection. He immediately took offense to the fact that I had mentioned that there had been no issue and threatened to not inspect the car and also stated that he wouldn’t refund me any of the money because it was a state related payment and that he didn’t have to. luckily for me, there was another customer waiting, and I think because he may have been embarrassed by his tone of voice or his actions with me he decided to bring the car in and replace the sticker without any further argument, but this is not a place that I would recommend anyone bring their car in for inspection because even if somebody makes a mistake, I think it’s even more unprofessional to go back on your word when you promised somebody that they can have the issue corrected by returning to your place of business within the specified timeframe only for you to take it personally and threaten not to complete the work for the payment that was received.There are so many places in Brockton that do inspections and don’t create an unsafe environment for their customers, so I would recommend any other location before I return to this one.

Came here on the way out of the RMV to get an inspection. Before I got there, Peter was dealing with a very aggressive, rude, obnoxious customer. He handled the situation with composure and professionalism. When it was my turn, he was super friendly and helpful! The people working here welcomed me to MA and gave me lots of insight about the area Based on my experience, I highly recommend this place and will definitely return for any future service needs

Great service for inspection stickers. I’ve been taking all my cars here for years. It’s quick even when there are several cars ahead of me.

Brockton shell in Brockton on Belmont street is the best they are very honest people I’ve been coming here for 24 years they always do great service and there prices are reasonable and there inspection is fast and easy!

Worse service ever,they used to have good mechanics, now they all sck.....making things much worse,if u don't understand about cars don't wat your time going there..they will rober you..

I went there, I told the guy that my horn wasn’t working and it was because of something in the steering wheel. He said ok I will check it out.. He never told me that he was going to do a diagnostic test or never said how much it would cost. I was wondering what took it so long. Finally the guy from the Inspection side came over to tell me that the problem was a COIL IN THE STEERING COLUMN…. Which is what I said from the VERY BEGINNING. Then he said it’s going to cost $100 for a diamond test. I was shocked. I said for what. He said diagnostic testing, I said you didn’t tell me. Had you done that I would have not had it done.Then said oh, the problem is with a coil on the steering wheel….. HELLO that was what I said in the VERY BEGINNING.

For over 15 years, I have been going to this station for auto mechanic service and inspections. While I work in the Brockton area, I live over 60 miles away. Still, I drive to Brockton Shell because of their excellent service. Of special note, is Peter. He has always treated me with the utmost respect. He has also treated me honestly and never overcharged me. Instead, he would do his best to find the most cost effective way to do the job. Congratulations on such a caliber of employees. Please pass our thanks to Peter.
