I've been coming to y to his pharmacy for years and no problem. I get a text yesterday saying my prescription is ready for pickup. I left work early today to come pick it up. No prescription ready, not till Wednesday. So I lost money to get here and she can't explain why I got a text it's ready. I've had hundreds of texts and never a problem. The pharmacist with a degree screws up and just shrugged and says opps m

In this time of global pandemic, with all the added concerns to our daily lives, I've just encountered the single rudest, most condescending, arrogant and ignorant person I may have ever come into contact with. She is Tracy at Stop & Shop N. Montello St. Brockton MA. Having forgot my cash and cards at home after doing yardwork, I ran to the local Stop & Shop for flowers for my girlfriend's mom's birthday. When I got to the self check I realized I didn't have cash or cards on me but did have a couple winning scratch tickets to cash in. I told the girl at self check I'd be right back then went to customer service to cash my tickets. There were 2 employees there and a line of 8-10 people. I waited my turn, roughly 10-15 minutes, then when I got to the front of the line I asked Tracy why such a long line to cash a couple tickets? She was rude from the first word, which then only progressed to nothing short of utter belligerence, including rudely telling me she had been there 15 years like that mattered in the situation. I respect this coronavirus scarce as much as anyone, well she then refused to cash my tickets, told me to "get out of her space", and even had the audacity to laugh in my face, not once but several times. I asked to speak to the store manager as a result, who turned out to be Patrina. After another 10-15 minutes of waiting, and several times paging the store manager, Patrina finally arrived with a sidekick. She began by indignantly explaining that they were trying their best to follow the governor's orders, rather than wanting to listen to me at all. After her initial rant, she then listened to the fact that I simply want my scratch tickets cashed. I waited my turn, which was already more than long enough, but would simply not accept being berated by Stop & Shop employees any longer. Tracy then arrogantly again refused to help her or me, while completely ignoring Patrina altogether when she went to the counter to ask her to cash my tickets, causing the other person at the desk to have to come over when they were done what they were doing, at the store manager's request. No customer should be treated like this, not by a brand new employee, or one of "15 years" as Tracy is. She was nothing short of entirely rude, obnoxious, and condescending, and having shown her true colors it's difficult to comprehend how or why she would be at the "customer service" desk at all. I've lived blocks from this location for a long time myself, and at times in the past Tracy has been pleasant to me, however people don't show their character when things are easy, true character and integrity are shown when things are tough. I will no longer be shopping at this Stop & Shop, as with people like Tracy and Patrina in positions of authority it leaves too much question in my mind as to the way the whole of business is being conducted there

Meat department needs improvement. But the vegetable produce is really nice. Fresh, variety ....The cheeses and bakery 4 star. Bakery could use some help. Quality isn't Maybe some good lighting to really showcase the treats. Shelves are stocked nice. Just put in glass shelving refrigeration as well. I love the staff. Customer service always helpful, every single time I've been there. Excellent health organic options. Add all that with the gas station and you have a very good shopping experience

This Stop&Shop has improved marginally. I visited the store a while ago to experience multiple leaks in the ceiling, long checkout lines, and an eh-eh, average shopping experience. They fixed the issue with the scanner guns, but truthfully there is nothing making this store worth shopping at. The store isn't very organized and it definitely isn't one of the cleaner and more organized of the other nearby Stop&Shop locations. The staff are okay, but aren't around to help when I need it most. Additionally the management doesn't seem to care when I request for more people working at checkout, as the lines are normally absurd! I don't want to be waiting for 20-30 minutes to check out, and neither does anyone else in the world. Overall, this is just an average Stop&Shop. If you are in the area and it is possible (I know this may be difficult since some in this area don't have cars and take the bus instead), go to the other Brockton Stop&Shop on Belmont Street. Management and staff are better, ad the store is just better all around. Too bad neither of them are completely renovated! 3 stars.

The place is always clean but they have lots of beggars in the front. They harass and intimate many shoppers. Therefore I stop going there bc of it. I feel safer at other grocery stores.

The store is chronically understaffed during key times (e.g. Weekends) and often does not have the fresh meat and seafood products we need. Area homeless tend to congregate by exits, redemption area, and in the parking lot. The florist desk is also rarely staffed, and lines at checkout and service desk are always long. The only things that keep me coming back are proximity to home and gas rewards.

This is a great Stop & Shop. I regularly do my shopping here. Usually clean, and stocked. Very nice staff. It has a nice Florist department that always looks nice. They do a spectacular job keeping it nice. As well as a gas station to use your gas points. 10 cents off for every 100 S&S points. On the top of the fact that it is one of the cheapest stations around. It has multiple self checkout lines, and a bank. I would rather go here and spend slightly higher prices then the mad house that is market basket anytime. Overall very good. Negatives are parking lot. It is a little small. The gas station can be particularly difficult to maneuver. Not a lot of space and jam packed at times. The exits for parking lot and gas station can be a real pain. And are by far my biggest complaints.

This is a very large supermarket, with all the usual grocery stuff plus a decent sized pharmacy and areas with other stuff, such as housewares and pet supplies. It's probably actually too big of a store. There's a lot of crap in there that you don't typically need on a grocery shopping trip. But, hey, it adds convenience so in the end that's not a bad thing I suppose. I generally like this store, although I do have my frustrations from time to time. Today, for example...all I wanted was either ground beef or ground turkey. Pretty simple. Problem is they were all cleaned out of "normal" ground beef (only had the pricey locally farmed organic),, and similarly with the ground turkey they only had the pricey 99 percent fat free. That's not typical. Most weeks I'm very happy and easily find what I want...just every once in a while they're supply is limited like that. Produce is good for the most part. Generally lasts at least a week, and tastes fairly fresh. But you have to look closely, because they do sell items that haven't ripened yet or are under-developed. They have a very good bakery for a supermarket. Breads and pies have always been very fresh and delicious. Cost is average if you have a store card and lean towards store brands, otherwise prices can be a little high. However, a plus is for every 100 dollars you spend, you earn 10 cents off per gallon at their gas station. I have saved quite a bit of money with this perk. This Super Stop & Shop is large and has a great selection. Today may not have been the best of days to come here considering there is a blizzard advisory. A lot of the isles are somewhat empty but you can visibly see the workers there tidying up the isles and restocking very quickly. The check out lines were long but they went pretty quickly. All hands on deck so no lane was empty. Considering all the chaos the folks there still have a smile on their faces and greet you politely.

Too be honest, I'm so not a fan of overpriced stop and shop though I will go to the one. Everyone I come across here in this store is so nice! At times I'll pay the extra few bucks, just because I kno it's going to be a pleasant visit.
