Very local customer for years..
If it hasn't expired months or years ago, it might be decent quality.
But, noticeable mold on products (salad, pickles, cheeses, packaged meat), rotten deli meat, non-perishables from 4 years ago, and produce that is always disappointing at best.
Frustratingly, there are a few good items, which bring people back.

the saleswoman was now standing on the fish, terrible behavior, throwing the tray, contorting her face, rudeness of the highest degree, as if I had come to her home!!! I hope she will be fired or she will leave on her own, because such a disgusting attitude towards people is unacceptable! if you are tired and hate people, change your workplace!!! my anger knows no bounds! It is precisely because of this that I do not recommend this store, we left without taking anything else! I lost all my desire!!!

I absolutely love this place. It is always clean and the produce is so fresh and well priced. The food is also DELICIOUS and really affordable! I also like trying the baked goods, they're really well made and super yummy. The bulgar and the herbed chicken is some of the best I've had!

I love this store. It has Nordic and Soviet items. On the 15th of each month they have discounts. The place is always clean and the products are not expensive.

Soviet mentality: if something has spoiled or gotten moldy instead of throwing it out- quick let's sell it! Depending on what you buy you can get home to half of your things spoiled. Sad.

Great selection of Eastern European foods and wines. They also have delicious bakery items. Employees are generally polite, though some a bit abrupt. Surprisingly excellent prices on staple items like produce and dairy, usually much cheaper than all other stores in the area! Worth coming in just for that, but being able to grab a nice Georgian wine is a great bonus as well.

Excellent store, excellent sellers, prices for some goods are higher than in Russian stores in California (for example, sunflower seeds or Korean carrots). Very tasty ready-made food, you can buy a combo lunch right away

I like this grocery store for authentic food, but the interior looks from Soviet Union period.

Awesome Eastern European specialty store. It has two branches, one on Beacon St and the other on Cambridge street. Their Honeybee cake is amazing!
