Was waiting to pickup someone dropping off a vehicle and the staff were generally rude and unpleasant with where I should park as I didn't want to be in their way. Seeing these reviews tells me the experience isn't much different if you're a paying customer.

Lady at the front desk tried to charge me an extra $160 for "damages" that she claimed after I left and she gave me the ok that the uhaul truck I rented was "good to go". Good thing i challenged the charge on my card. She is a chubby woman with a boy cut. Avoid her at all costs.

I was robbed. I went over the contract. It states "If you return after store hours, verify the equipment return on mobile device by going to uhaul.com/share. Or you can choose to have a U-Haul Representative verify it for you the next business day. There is $20.00 convinience fee for this option." So since I did verification of the equipment return on mobile device while I was dropping off the truck. That should have covered the $20.00 convinience fee. But, U-Haul decided to charge me just because I dropped off the key after hours, although I did the verification on the mobile phone. Basically, U-Haul decided to rob and steal money off of a customer. Very dissappointed by the how thing were handled. Because i E-mailed about this fee to the genral manager, Arcturus Johnso, and I STILL owe the $20 fee even after following the steps as it is stated on the CONTRACT. I did not know U-Haul was a thief that steals money from customers. General manager stated unless if the trucks are returned in person, there is a $20 fee. The general manager, he himself does not know the company policy.
