The pharmacy staff is extremally friendly and efficient. I receive text message reminders when my prescription is due - very convenient.Unlike Walgreens at 1101 Beacon St, Newton (where I previously lived), if you are 3-rd in line the wait is 30 min.

This CVS Pharmacy is really really bad WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE,The staff is unprofessional, aggressive and very disrespectful oftheir customers. Running late IS THE GAME HERE WITH RUDE ATTITUDE.When the VACCINE SHOT WAS GIVEN TO ME, THE PERSON DID NOT WEAR GLOVES AND WAS EATING HER DONUT .UNBELIEVABLE.. A HEALTH HAZARD. NO SANITATION RULES HERE.

i came in to find a covid test, and when i asked they hardly paid attention to me, and said they thought they might be out. i didn’t believe them but it wasn’t worth pushing the issue since they clearly weren’t interested in helping me.

I think a lot of the reviews on here now might be a little outdated, but I just moved here and switched to this pharmacy and they were so helpful in getting everything transferred over! They also helped me a bunch with getting some insurance stuff sorted out, so I've had a great experience with them so far and would totally recommend this location!

Evil bureaucracy does not let you cancel their CarePass subscription. I don’t recall signing up for this and generally avoid any monthly fees. At any rate, I realized that they have been charging me monthly for years. I call to cancel. Lines busy. Not even “sorry, it’s a long wait”. It’s just “we don’t do this by phone, try online”. But I haven’t made an account online. I use the email that CVS has, and no record of CarePass (not connected to email? They just have my credit card info and are going crazy?). So how am I supposed to cancel? I can’t online and they literally are not supporting phone calls right now. And they obviously know I haven’t used this and have no problem charging me for years.

It's a much smaller store a larger CVS is across on Harvard St. The pharmacist does a good a job as one can as the store is under staffed.

It’s conveniently located. They don’t have greeting cards or baby products. The pharmacy is very poorly run and they are always out of stock of everything. Take your pharmacy needs to 294 Harvard or 400 Washington instead.

Pharmacist(s) not very responsive. Yesterday, while picking up a prescription, I had to wait 10-15 minutes before I was even spoken to, even though I was at the front of the line and there was no else already waiting for anything before me.Today, while picking up another prescription, the same pharmacist put me on hold. After waiting for 20 minutes, I just walked over. She told me they were then closing in 15 minutes and so I would need to wait for her to get it ready for me. As I write this, after having picked up my prescription, I’m still on hold. Also, there were no other customers present when I picked up the prescription. What is this pharmacist doing? As a follow-up, the pharmacist picked up at 5:59pm. They close at 6.Would have given 2 stars, but the “hold music” is relaxing.

Extremely high prices for virtually all goods including prescription medications. Pharmacist was both rude and uninformative. She refused to accept a discount card, specifically for CVS, which had a low price for my Rx meds which was printed out the day I went to get the prescription. Cost was about three times higher than other pharmacies in the area. Avoid this CVS at all costs and you will save yourself frustration, avoid rudeness, and spend less money for needed Rx's than at this and probably most other CVS stores. As a footnote: Cost of a one ounce (1oz!) bottle of vanilla extract was pennies under ten dollars ($10.00!). That is absurdly high, but does let you know the markup CVS expects folks to pay. Just browsing but obviously didn't buy at that price. Sum: don't go to CVS or they'll burn your S!

Just went to pickup a prescription, and the pharmacy tech there was insanely rude. For some reason my prescription wasn't filled (it is monthly). She was snippy, yelled out my prescription name for the entire store to hear, and acted like I was wasting her time. She gave me no information on what I should do (ie call my doctor, etc). I then asked and she rolled her eyes and said they could fill it in 20 minutes if I wanted to wait. YES since it's a medication I need NOW. I legit left wanting to cry because she was so mean. I generally have had such nice people at the pharmacy counter at this CVS, but this woman just left a horrible taste in my mouth. Happy new year to her.

The attitude of the pharmacist is bad. Unprofessional and impatient.

I normally don't leave reviews for typical stores such as CVS, but the bald guy's attitude was so terrible it warranted both a review to warn others as well as a boycott. I had bought some locks at the Brighton location (significantly better service) and returned them at the Coolidge Corner CVS. The guy processed my return and snapped we don't even stock this. He was so angry he tore the receipt out of my hands and hurled it in the garbage. Have never received such "customer service".

The pharmacy here is a joke. I've had multiple prescriptions denied when trying to refill and I am given 0 information why, along with no future steps to take in accessing a medication. That I need THAT DAY. I've never had such terrible medical service from a pharmacy--yes, pharmacists should act like medical professionals and not just cashiers. I don't know if CVS is too busy buying up the entire healthcare market to remember they are pharmacists first, but I am transferring all of my prescriptions from this location. I was a major fan of CVSs when I lived in New York and am avoiding them at all costs from now on.

I like going here. There is another CVS down the street with a wider selection, but the store is smartly stocked and always has what I need.
