Pharmacist Tram is amazing! She always helps me out and goes above and beyond for me! They are sometimes understaffed but they try with what they got and I appreciate that.

I went to the local pharmacy today to get my next COVID-19 vaccine. I scheduled this appointment 2 days ago. I end up waiting 45 minutes after checking in. I kept witnessing customers go up to the pharmacy counter and ask if the pharmacy accepts walk-ins, only to be told no... they have to make an appointment. Yet, they couldn't honor my appointment time. Then 45 minutes after I came in, the pharmacist told me and other patients waiting for the vaccine that their fridge broke down, the vaccines had gone bad, and we all had to reschedule. She said it would have been unethical to vaccinate someone with the spoiled vaccine. I get that. I'm not an idiot. However making someone wait well passed their scheduled time, as opposed to telling them when they checked in is unethical too.

The pharmacy in the back is slow, chaotic, unprofessional, very unlike other CVS outlets I went to. Arrived on time for a vaccination and was left waiting indefinitely – no information provided, no waiting area, no apologies. While waiting I had the time to observe the pharmacists, who somehow managed to appear busy (more like hectic) while also having a good time. After 15 minutes of them chatting and me waiting I decided that I will not let someone from this crew stick a needle in me. Be warned.

The new pharmacist there doesn't know what she is doing. One occasion, she did not know how to transfer script from another store. Another time, she kept telling me that the prescription has no refills but the doctor confirmed they already sent the prescription refill few days ago. Turns out, she does not know how to look up a prescription on hold. I will transfer all the prescriptions my parents have out of there.

Words are insufficient to express my dissatisfaction with CVS Chestnut Hill. My Prescription Drug Carrier (Silver Scrips), my husband, and I spent over 1 HOUR, on hold, and to no avail, trying and trying and trying to get a pharmacist to answer the telephone line. The word ‘service’ should not even be mentioned in this review because this store has no concept of service responsiveness. A disaster of a storefront with no redeeming value!

Advise you not to go here if you need to pickup controlled medications or any medications that are important to your health.Whenever there's a situation that's outside the norm for my medication, I have to go back many times in order to be able to get my prescriptions. Not sure if its just them being understaffed or something else. Store part of cvs is fine, but please do not rely on this pharmacy for important prescriptions.

Slow, disorganized, and incompetent. The service has deteriorated and they seem to struggle to move people through the line. I have to wait almost every time. They don’t have a good organization system and the staff literally rummages through hundreds of out of order bags looking for prescriptions. They have terrible hours and when open they are beyond inefficient. My dermatologist called in a generic skin steroid (in stock) and i have been waiting in the store for almost an hour for them to find it and/or make me a new bag. Pathetic. Texts used to alert me when meds were ready, now they almost never send them or they take literally weeks to renew. not acceptableUpdate: I had to go back yesterday because my other doctor sent in another med. (I know, great) and this was on a friday morning. with no line, and the service was slow, but being the only customer it was not ridiculously slow. But what really disappointed and discouraged me was the women working up front (overweight black woman) was very rude to an elderly woman asking for help. The employee had no one in line at the pharmacy and when the woman walked up and asked for help finding a bandage for her injured leg, the employee said: “you need to ask someone up front “ this was said in a rude manner but in a kind of whisper and the poor elderly lady did not hear or did not understand and so the pharmacy employee just ignored her. Eventually the lady walked down an isle. I had a free minute so I helped the lady find the type of bandages she was looking for for her leg injury. Zero compassion and poor customer service.

I have lived 5 minutes away from this CVS for 22 years and have never not been disappointed. The pharmacy is never quick or on top of it and the pharmacists are extremely slow and not understanding. I wish it was restructured but at this point, I don’t have belief that it can be.

Horrific pharmacy. I strongly advise that they close this branch before it costs someone their life due to negligence and mishandled scripts. Uneducated, inexperienced, blatantly rude staff. Time and time again. AVOID!

I waited on line for 40 minutes only to be told they were out of stock and it was closing time. The most inefficient store I have ever walked into…. Time to get membership at Walgreens. I suggest you do the same
