I love Framers’ Workshop. I did the DIY framing years ago at the old location and it was a great price to frame a lot of pieces. This time I had two frames that needed new mats for the art I wanted to put in them, and the wonderful framer cut the mats and installed the hardware for me to frame the artwork at home to save $45 apiece. It was a breeze to put together and I paid only $30 for both custom mats. I will definitely return for all future framing needs.

Really pleased with my experience! Came in with a weird ask, got the help I needed, and at a reasonable price point. They will go out of their way to find unique and cost effective solutions for your framing needs. After a few weeks (they actually finished it earlier than quoted initially), I got my painting back re-stretched on a frame and with a really nice wooden frame added. I'll be back with more projects!

I love this business. I have brought kids here for a fabulous field trip. After the kids complete a work of art they can learn to frame it. The staff are always extra helpful.

The biggest draw for me at this shop was going there, interacting with the fun, experienced staff, getting a booth in the workshop and doing the framing myself. There were times when I would go twice a week. Alas, (for me) they have converted to totally full service. They were great people and I hope they are all doing well.

Great work, great cause (It's run, if I remember correctly, by Mass. ARC) if not exactly cheap for the "good" stuff I had framed.But I WAS able to use one of their $5 frames - which I found in the waiting area for one 'lesser' item, which helped a lot. That one maxed out at around $30, the extra accounted for by the glass & labor. Really fine work all around!

Even in the era of Covid, the customer service and attention to helping with the choices, advice and speed is brilliant! You can order the frame you like and pick it up in a week and have it done at home. Safe and practical!

And when you can DIY, it's fun, it's relatively easy, and it saves you money. This is truly one of the best run businesses in Boston.

Just the loveliest people. Learned a lot framing my own stuff here and have also gotten great consults from them on fancier framing / matting jobs. I still do all my framing here even though I live far away now.

This place is great. They help you select frames and mats and walk you through framing if you have no experience. I went for one frame and found myself coming back often to frame other items. They will do the frame for you, but it takes a while and honestly it's more fun to frame it yourself and walk out with your work that day.
