?? The tax preparer said she can do our tax return before the due date, no need to file the extension. We uploaded everything on time, no response. Until 4/14 evening, she told us that she hasn’t looked our paperwork yet, and we have to file the extension. Also she is fully booked on 4/15, we have to come very early (which we can’t) to file the extension. Excuse me? If you are not able to do it, why take the case, and waste my time?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had with ANY service, let alone taxes. We engaged with Carlton Thurston in early March and provided all the information he needed well in advance of the deadline. The week before they were due we chased him up to see where they were and essentially had to start from the beginning as he forgot/lost/ignored the information we previously gave him. Over the course of that week he sent 3 completely incorrect returns, making errors on citizenship, dates and currencies - at one point he gave me a signature sheet to sign and was surprised I asked the to actually see the full return, which again was completely wrong. I spent over 90 mins with him in our final meeting and agreed a time for me to come back the following week - he wasn't there and I have never heard from him since.Additionally he advised my wife and I to file separate returns and claimed to have filed hers successfully. It was never filed and when we consulted an independent professional it was found to be significantly incorrect in a way that could have caused her future difficulties with the IRS.HR Block makes you pay to see the return that has been created, so you pay before you find they are wrong. In total we spent several hundred dollars for absolutely nothing except frustration and stress.We are still waiting to hear back from the company despite filing complaints over 2 weeks ago.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Minai seems to be new and has no clue what she is doing. We set up an appointment with a different person (because had a previous bad experience with Minai) for 10am today and ended up waiting 20 minutes to be even seen by her AGAIN. She did not even had our forms in even though we sent everything through email. She then had to double check information that was already put in and was taking forever. She had to ask for help every 5 minutes and left us alone on multiple occasions and seemed clueless. We spent almost an hour at the office today on our day off and didn’t even get anywhere with her. She also forgot to give my forms back that I gave her and had to remind her. She should not be allowed to take clients until she is qualified enough which clearly wasn’t the case. Terrible service on her behalf. Will never return to this location after this years tax return is over. So disappointed.

a disaster from beginning to the very end. Never ever again. Inexperienced tax professional, no communication to the very end. Left messages and called asking for an explanation which was never returned. The list goes on
