I brought my car in for an oil change at 10am and asked for inspection as I noticed it was having issues. At 1130, I received the report. It took an hour to get a hold of the store. I called once the report was received, was put on hold for 15 minutes, then hung up. Sent a message asking them to call me. Called again at 12, put on hold, then was hung up on. I called back and it went to voicemail. I was called back at 1230, an hour after the report was received, and we walked through services I was doing/declining. I was told it would be ready at 2, then he adjusted it to 3. I got to the store at 3:30, and the car wasn’t ready until 4:15. Someone else in there was complaining about to the guy at the desk saying he was told his car wouldn’t take as long it did and he just brushed him off. Horrible experience at Midas.

I recently needed a new exhaust system. The work too longer than promised or expected but Bennie was great at communicating with me and making sure I had transportation to get where I needed to go. The customer service was wonderful and my car now sounds normal.
I would give 5 stars for the customer service if I was rating it on that alone.

Tried to overcharge my credit card compared to the amount on the receipt and refused to adjust it when I pointed it out. I had to do a credit card chargeback to get the difference back.
Their "inspection" is full of shit. Brake pads with <10K miles, and they're telling me that replacement is needed. Recommending a "GDI Induction Service" for my car that does NOT have a GDI engine. Recommending spark plugs and drive belts that are nearly brand new.
Can you come here and get a good deal on an oil change? Maybe. But it's only a strategy to upsell you in a dishonest way.

!!!long story short: a simple vehicle check here can lead you to higher bill with more problems they create!!!
I made an appointment 9/9/24 to replace my brakes as they were making squeaky noises both front and rear. Though I did read some bad reviews, I made an appointment for 4pm (if I remember correctly) since who knows it may be just one customer who had a bad experience. And soon, the staff called me if I can come in right away around 1:30pm as replacing brakes may take longer while they close at 6pm. It was not a problem, so I went there and had my brakes checked. While waiting, I did hear the staff receiving a complaint call from a previous customer (though it was based on what the staff was saying) - it was that the customer heard weird sounds when driving after he got his vehicle repaired here and found some parts in wrong places by other auto services. The staff was telling the customer that it must be a coincidence, for they did not hear anything wrong when they did the repair. This call made me a little nervous, and I tried to trust the staff that it must be a coincidence. After the vehicle check, the bill was about $1100 to change brake rotors ONLY front and rear. It was certainly more than what I expected and I had to say I would have to check before I get the service done. The staff was very reluctant to let me go and tried to persuade me that it's the cheap-avg price and is necessary. It took like 10 good minutes to stop him. Then they put the parts back, which took about an hour (idky). And as soon as I started driving, I started hearing rattling/popping noises from the rear wheels. I was trying to convince myself that it's just coincidence, but everyone who rode my car noticed the difference. I went to different auto services later in September, he only charged me 700 for front brake rotors AND calipers and said rear makes weird sounds but should be okay for now (he did not perform any changes there). Then 11/4/24 today, my rear totally stopped working, because the caliper was loosely placed and moved around in the wheel, leading to lock of wheel movement, hoss damage/leak and loss of some parts. The bill is now 800 to change rotor AND caliper AND other parts (which is still cheaper) + towing as the vehicle stopped on the road. Thankfully it stopped at the signal and did not affect emergency brake, so no one was injured, but imagine if that happened middle of the road.
Simple message: don't even get a simple vehicle check here, or you will get more new problems that you never had before and end up with higher bills.

I had the worst experience in November 2023 for a simple switchover of my all season tires to my winter tires. They were on rims so easy swap right?! I made an appointment on my day off for when they open at 8am. I get there and the front desk guy asks me if I can come back in a couple of hours? Excuse me. What? Why? Well because the mechanics aren’t there, apparently they don’t show up on time in the morning. They stroll in whenever they feel like it. He asked me if I wanted to wait or make another appointment that’s not at the beginning of the day. Are you serious?? I said I would wait. He tells me I can get coffee around the corner and that I can drive there if I want to. Absolutely not, I am leaving my car and the keys so that they can do the job when they “stroll” in. About 1.5 hours later, they call me. It’s done. No apologies from the mechanics. He charges me $120 to switch over tires on rims!!! I had been there once before and they had charged me $40 (no issues on first visit). He said prices go up. Well that’s quite the inflation! Also, when I made the appointment, I specified in the notes in all caps (ON RIMS). Obviously the front desk guy had not talked to the mechanic. After some research, he charged me $60. Reasonable-ish for Boston.
***Fast forward 6 months later to today and I am doing my switchover at Hogan Tire and Auto (5 stars) and they tell me the lug nuts are missing. (I completely take responsibility for not double checking myself that Midas had returned them) but I was dealing with the drenched and dirty tires they had placed in the bags without letting me know. So now I need 20 new lug nuts thanks to Midas. I was going to write a review 6 months ago because I was so mad at the way they treat their customers but I thought I would give them a pass. Now that I am missing the lug nuts, I am pissed enough to write a review. I will never go there again. From now on, I am going to Hogan Tire & Auto. I highly recommend them.

I'm not usually writing reviews, but my displeasure is so enormous that it has to be done.
I had this installation because I wanted to balance my tires for reasons of reducing vibrations in my vehicle.
Starting with punctuality, this time they missed an appointment at 10 am and then it was in two hours and then at 4 in the afternoon they were still not working on my vehicle.
Second, the price of the service was an extremely high cost for that work and for greasing the calipers, they were charging me $282, then it was $190, and then it was $140. In the end, I paid the 140 because I was more than an hour late in my work and I needed to go. Where we are clear that this service could not cost more than $80 dollars. Hey so don't damage your reputation and service ok a bad service can happen one day but to the extreme abuse I wouldn't say I would never come back here but I don't think I will come back for a long time or years totally disappointing. From what I can interpret, there is no specific price for each thing, so why did they change the prices so much and sorry for this, I'm not used to it but I felt cheated.

You could be a little bit more transparent about your prices. You told us a price over the phone, then we brought the car to you. Afte that you placed the car on the lift and told us it's going that you're charging us almost double. When we told you that's not the price we agreed, yo said that there was a misunderstanding and proceeded to charge us 50 dollars just because you took the tires out to check, and rush us to pick up the car. Unfair and deceiving business.
