Amazing little studio packed with rowing machines and gym equipment in Brookline Village. I took the workout of the day on a weekday morning with Bryan and two others. It was a 45 minute workout of HIIT rowing machine exercises and some weights for leg workouts. Bryan was a great instructor and explained the proper form of rowing and explained how the rowing machine worked. It took a few rows to get used to having the proper form and then went on to more powerful rows. By the last set I was definitely tired and sweaty, but gave it my all for the last sprint. Bryan has a playlist with older music and is very encouraging. Not only does he work out with us but also came around to check our form and speed. Overall, a great place to check out if you're looking for a full body work in Brookline!

The class was hard but a great workout! We absolutely loved the space— very authentic, sunny and the ergs were in good shape.But what made the class all the better was Brian, the lead instructor (owner of the studio?). Brian was a character! He kindly led us through an introduction to the machine, proper form and then through the workout. He offered lots of corrections throughout and did the entire workout with us. He was really energetic and just a kind welcoming person. You can tell this is his passion! We will be recommending and coming back (:

I've loved the classes I've taken here so far. You always get a good workout and I appreciate the stretching that's always included as well. The instructors are terrific and really encourage me to work much harder than I would on my own. Highly recommended!

First time rowing through class pass, have tried a couple other classes (spin, Bootcamps) but this was by far the best. The studio had some great music but you could still hear and focus compared to other deafening classes. Bryan was super welcoming, funny and personal, helping to set up machines and correct form as we went.

Amazing full body workout!! I took a rowing for runners class with Brian and I will be sore the next couple days in the best way. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and with a great positive attitude. The class was certainly a full body work out - abs were for me! But the studio offers a range of classes for a variety of levels. The space is great as well. Open with great light and beautiful exposed beams. There's bathrooms, towels, mats, and lockers at the location. There's not many rowing studios in the area and if you are debating on checking it out, this is your sign to go.

I stumbled upon Power Rowing through ClassPass, and was immediately hooked. I thought I was in good shape before coming here, but Bryan challenges and pushes me every class. He is a patient, talented coach and has helped me discover a love for rowing. His kindness and energy are unmatched, and he truly has created such a wonderful, welcoming community!

This studio is honestly the best thing that has happened to my fitness life in recent years. As I've grown older, I've found myself moving farther and farther away from the collegiate athlete that I once was, and admittedly less enthusiastic about working out. Bryan's studio offered me the chance to reclaim my fitness by introducing me to a sport/workout that I had never experienced before. Not only are the classes the complete, total body workout they are also fun and engaging, and Bryan is a great instructor motivating his clients to reach their full potential. He's very personable and sincere, and his charity challenges are the absolute best in bringing the community together and impacting positive change. I'm thankful to Bryan and all of the instructors at Power Rowing (Brookline). Keep Rowing!

i never enjoyed any gym, and I completely love Power Rowing. It is a welcoming, comfortable space with natural lighting, plants, and windows that open. It is run by amazing, talented trainers and coaches. I lost 30 pounds, gained a ton of strength, and made countless friends in my first year there. And during the pandemic, their online classes and challenges have kept me afloat in spirit and fitness.
