The Samuel Sewall Inn is an absolute hidden gem and a must for anyone traveling or needing to transition. Housed in an old mansion with much personality and bold décor, it perfectly fits the New England Boston vibe. The rooms are a nice size, very comfortable, and feature unique, beautiful antique furniture. Guests enjoy an en-suite bathroom, microwave, and fridge. The charming hallways and quiet common rooms provide perfect sitting areas, contributing to a very quiet space at night good for a great night's sleep. The location is excellent, very close to the city but not on a busy street. It is only about 15 minutes from Downtown Boston, a one-minute walk from the subway, and a short walk from supermarkets and Coolidge Corner with its many eating places. The staff are wonderful, friendly, and helpful. The Inn is pet-friendly and offers a spacious parking lot. Very clean and with a reasonable monthly price, it provides an overall great experience, making guests feel at home away from home. It is a great place and an excellent place to stay.

Surprise $20/day fee for parking. The TV services were not available in my room. "Just stream with your own Netflix account." :-/ The neighborhood is noisy, and we couldn't close the windows to keep the noise out. There were many good things about the Inn, but I was taken back by the inflexible reservation policy.
