My overall experience with Two Men and a Truck went well. We really enjoyed the movers! The back of house team was resourceful with any additional comments and concerns I had.

We have used this service in November 2023 and we had a horrible experience. They damaged several pieces of my furniture and have not had the decency to call us back or respond to emails regarding this issue. Almost 5 months. Very frustrating and disappointing to experience this. We trusted this company.

The crew showed up on time and did a great job moving our company. We had to move on a Saturday and they worked all day until we were completely in our new space. They were very professional and courteous. I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck as our experience was great.

Do not trust their estimates - my move cost double the amount that the estimated. Extremely disappointing, I have used other movers in the past and have never seen an estimate miss by that much.

The worst movers you can imagine. 3 hours late. Asked me for shrink wrap and take. Asked me how much I would tip before move was half way done. Solicited individual services to my neighbor while not helping with move. The lead driving told me he could not help because he was hung over being with a women the night before. The two other movers broke two tv stands, two couches, one tv, one dresser, one bed frame and packed trash into my move/property . I am in shock and the GM has been useless and slow to respond. Do not use this poorly managed company. This was my 4th move and the only time I had property damage (and it’s a large list due to the incompetence of this company).

The actual bill came in at almost 60% higher than the estimate provided by the company, and simply for delivering a sofa from a furniture store loading dock to the ground floor of a house (i.e. there were no unexpected surprises). If the quoted cost is really the minimum, the company should state that on the phone.One of the movers actually dropped the sofa, but luckily there was no (visible) damage.

My daughter hired Two Men and a Truck to move her at an outrageous fee of 299.00 per hour. She did not mind paying a premium because they were insured. They destroyed her stairway wall and we had to have it fixed the next day because we were closing. The plastering and painting came to 1,400.00 and Dan insulted us with an offer of 300.00. This is unacceptable behavior. Terrible customer service. They just don't care. I would never use them or recommend them to anyone. I have been selling real estate for 27 years and this is my first negative review of a mover. Let's hope that Dan wakes up and pays the bill or we will see him in court. Stay clear of this company. Next is the BBB and all moving testimonial sites if we don't review a check asap.

We used Two Men and a Truck for a cross country move, I would suggest that you do not make the same mistake we did.Incredibly unprofessional and misrepresentative in terms of pricing. We were scheduled for 2 crates, when I asked for a quote for what it would cost for a third, they refused to share a price.Shortly after starting the move, we were called and told that we would need a third crate, without them even seeing the size of the items. They provided an estimate for what that crate would cost, shortly after they called back and said it would actually be double their estimate. This was disproportionally more expensive than it should have been.When the truck arrived at the unload destination, it was immediately clear that everything was incredibly poorly packed. Many boxes were completely crushed, with many heavier items of top. Items were not secured in any way. The movers who were unloading made several comments about how unprofessionally it was packed.Due to their incompetence, multiple pieces of furniture were damaged beyond repair. A large bookshelf was mysteriously missing.While they compensated us for the broken items, they refused to provide compensation for assembly, or assembly services. This was especially frustrating as the move explicitly included disassembly and reassembly of furniture, and we are now left to reassemble all new furniture by ourselves, despite spending a small fortune to avoid that.Save your money, and go with a company that treats their customers with respect.

We hired them for a move from one part of Framingham to another. The movers were pleasant, but had damaged both furniture (noticed after they left) and a doorway in the house. We even purchased the extra insurance to cover the move. They took pictures and said their corporate office would contact us. That was in January and it is now July with no contact. Would never use them again! Be advised that they have poor reviews for a reason. I wish I had not trusted a recommendation. PS: To the company, Do not respond to contact you. The report was submitted and checked on already. How about your customer service to follow up on what your movers damaged?!

Unfortunately, my experience with Two men was a bit of an ordeal. Support was NOT helpful. I have lost my deposit of 100 dollars and spent well over that worth in my own time trying to figure out pricing. The tool on the site leads you to believe pricing is based on rooms and boxes/items. It doesn’t also highlight that distance to and from their warehouse is included WITH NO CAP on travel time.I was looking to do a tiny move .4 miles in downtown Boston. When I got the quote and wondered why it was so high for 5 pieces of furniture pre-dissambled and a .4 mile move, I was told there was a 1-hour minimum and was still confused so inquired why the estimate was over 3 hours. It was not until then I was told that they also billed for time to and from their warehouse on the north shore with no time cap. So it could be an additional two hours given Boston traffic for a half-hour move. When that was finally revealed, I asked if they had a closer facility seeing as your warehouse is 45 minutes minimum from both properties. I was told no and that time, no matter what traffic (this would be midday on Saturday) would be billed. That would mean a potential charge where over 60% of the fee is for you to drive to and from in the middle of a Saturday on a parents weekend for colleges in Boston. You can see why this is NOT ideal.When I said that to the support guy he was basically like yep!I would have appreciated some more upfront discussion of pricing and pros and cons from your sales rep up front. You guys had such great reviews so this is disappointing. I would recommend you SUGGEST to people who inquire that you work best for north shore moves or only if customers are under a certain distance move.

I’m moving from my home for the first time and am very stressed. I have been anxious about the movers- if they can lift the heavy boxes, if they can load the truck the right way, if they will be able to get it done in time. I’m here now with Juan torress and Edwin tellez and for the first time since making the decision to move I feel comfortable. They are doing a wonderful job. In 45 minutes they’ve pretty much cleared my whole apartment. They do it with such ease and I feel so comfortable with my belongings in their care. Im honestly shocked at how well they do this work. Highly recommend if you are stressed about moving.
