I am a complete novice and didn't know where or how to go about finding a golf instructor. After doing some google search, I happened to stumble upon Big Sticks and Terry. I've gone to practice there, and have had several lessons with Terry now. It's a welcoming, clean, well-maintained, and non-pretentious environment. I feel comfortable being there as a complete beginner. My fiancé has used the simulator to play a round of golf, and he had no issues with the equipment. I've been enjoying my lessons with Terry, and I feel very lucky to have found him. He is professional and kind. He gives all of his attention to me during lessons and makes me feel like he cares that I learn correctly. I can tell he takes pride in the quality of his teaching, no matter your level. I plan to stick with Terry for a while and I feel hopeful that I can get out on the course to play one day!

There’s a female instructor named Jordan or Hyunjoo - extremely unprofessional and petty. She requires $1,300 upfront for 10 sessions, (later we learned that nobody does ask for upfront payment) then tells me not to practice outside the lessons or not to watch golf channel. She says she will know if I do so then she will cease offering lessons and no refund for remaining lessons. Wth? She also incessantly talks about how great and unique her teaching methods are and how mad she is with other instructors that don’t teach correctly and waste clients’ money, while all she does during lessons is having us swing like a metronome, no full swing, no posture, literally nothing, for 9 sessions.In the meantime, her unprofessional attitudes also stand out and I felt she didn’t like me, noticeably! In the beginning (I am a complete novice) she says I don’t need clubs, as she has hers I can use. Also there’s another client before me that comes and uses Jordan’s clubs, so how else can I think other than oh it’s how it works here. Later she will start showing her dislikes for me, telling me not to speak as my tones (high pitch I guess) bother her, and grumpily ask when I am gonna get the clubs. If you did not like me using yours, don’t allow it in the first place or give me warnings instead of bullying another grown up. I am not there for tone addresses, don’t bully people simply because you have your own problemsAfter 5-6 sessions, scheduling becomes difficult and when I ask when we have next lessons, she will reply that she will look at schedules and she will contact me. This is not how you schedule especially when you took money upfront, like when is that when you gonna contact me? Yep she is that unprofessional, also another form of bully. Then leaving me in the dark for a week then I have to text again. Very stressful.Then eventually she texted me that she won’t teach me anymore (not to my surprise) with an odd picture of herself claiming that she’s sick as an evidence, but well normal people would have raised more suspicions, as it was totally dubious gesture.Anyways, we found another instructor elsewhere, actually two, first was phenomenal but physically too far so the second instructor, they both said this woman is charlatan, after hearing that this is what I learned for 9 sessions, so here I go spending another set of grand.Jordan also recommended my college bound golf rookie daughter who barely hits balls a 3k golf clubs, which I bought, to which instructors even said that this woman needs to be kicked in the buttEvidently not clear in her head, unprofessional, irresponsible, and bad personality. Hope no more people get duped.

Absolutely loved my experience here. Terry is super nice and has a clear knowledge of the game and how to analyze your swing. I got a pack of 3 lessons and would absolutely do another set of 3. He knows exactly how to diagnose your shot, and the technology in the facility really enables him and the other members there to diagnose any issue in your swing.

I had my first lesson in about 6 years here and Terry was phenomenal. He was able to analyze my swing, give me areas where I need adjustment and practice, and he even sends you videos taken in the lesson with audio overlay in which he reinforces and reminds you parts of the swing that need focus. 10/10 would recommend and I cannot wait to see how this lesson translates into my golf game in the future. I will be back.

Terry's great and the technology they use to help you see your swing and make adjustments is very helpful. As a golf novice I found the beginner lessons to be very helpful. Would certainly recommend.

Great place to practice hitting golf balls in the winter and being able to see all the stats & ball flight. T. Felty is a top golf instructor. Has 2 simulators to play 18 holes on.

Terry , John and the rest and the team are terrific! Great lessons and plenty of bays from golf simulators to play top notch golf courses, to bays to video your swing, and of course practice bays to simply track and groove a better swing. Plus it's reasonably priced, easy to get to and a great spot for winter matches with the boys.

Terry is the man. I took what I learned during my lessons right to the driving range and turned them into habits. Ball striking, distance, and accuracy have all greatly improved. Golf is a ton more fun when you're playing well!

Great place and state of the art equipment! Top notch!! Terry keeps it fun and enjoyable, I was a member for a couple years but I moved away! Miss it!
