I usually really like Bruce nails but I went today and showed a picture...my nails looked terrible and NOTHING like the picture. I had them redone, but had to pick a different color because they were not able to do what I wanted. Two hours later, my nails are already all scratched up. I got dip and the only thing I have done since then is fold laundry. Really really upset and disappointed. First picture is what I showed them, second is what I got.

I tried to go here as a new client. When I walked in it was very hot and packed for a Sunday. They said something like “upstairs” when I said I had an appointment and I was confused but said ok how do I go up there when another tech yelled “pick color”. I was like ok.. tried to find a gel color of dark brown and found none but settled on a color. Turned around and a tech was waiting for me but the tech next to her was turned completely sideways blocking my access to the chair. I said “are you going to move so I can get in” and she didn’t reply or move. I tried to squeeze past the girl so that I didn’t bang into her and had to lean over the chair and throw my stuff on the little side table. At that point I just said you know what this isn’t worth it I’m going to leave and go somewhere else. They weren’t friendly from the start, not to mention the conversation the two techs had with each other in another language when I asked for her to move so I could get by, and since I’m about to shell out $60 for a gel pedicure I decided my money wasn’t getting spent in a place like this. I’ve had my nails done for 20 years and never ever felt this uncomfortable or disrespected. I get it it was busy and I get that others probably love it but I think it’s necessary for me to say this because other new clients should be hesitant. When I got home I saw on the website there are actually 2 “locations” one up and one down so not sure what that’s all about. and the online pictures must be the upstairs because the downstairs was a tiny space and not anything like the picture. I just called the number and made an appt. Why they didn’t send me to the nicer upstairs location is besides me. The idea of a pedicure is to be relaxed and have a calming quiet atmosphere. Instead I felt on “show” to the people there along with the staff who just didn’t have a care about me in the world. Maybe it’s great but I didn’t let it get that far. My money matters too much to me and there are plenty more options.

Been coming to this establishment for years. Made an appointment for later in the week. Could not even understand the receptionist, but I confirmed 3 times on date and time. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment, I did not have an appointment. Not one person upstairs (and whoever had my appointment was apparently not there) where I usually have my pedicures but was sent downstairs to figure out the disconnect. Of course the receptionist had no idea where my appointment was, she could not find my phone number in her book.Big disappointment, I will not be going back since I cannot communicate with broken English, nor have the time to figure out their administrative issues.. So sorry.

They said I could come in for a 6pm gel mani and gel pedi appointment. They made me wait until 6:30pm. Then, they kept trying to put regular polish on my toes when I said, and they approved, gel several times. They dug their nails into me and it hurt. I do have sensitive feet, but T&K did not do this a few weeks ago when I gave them a try. The lady who filed my nails cut me open in 6 or so spots. My fingers hurt so bad right now. She didn't even make sure that my nails were all even. The lady who did my pedicure and manicure had to fix them (but she only did so when I asked).I was told I could get blue gel nails with thin, gel pink lines for the tips. I showed them the picture I wanted before they even started on my toes, because if they could not do what I wanted I would've gone for something entirely different. But they waited until the last 10 minutes of my session to say no.The fact they had found the pink at the beginning before they started on my toes, yet somehow "didn't have it" by the time it needed to be used, is astounding. I saw it right in front of my face. It was there, they just didn't want to do it.My appointment lasted past closing time, but it wouldn't have if they had done 6pm like we agreed on. My friend had to wait forever for me to finish and I feel so bad. I kept having to correct them and nag them to do their job right. It did not feel like a self-care experience, it was stressful and painful and so very terrible. This wasn't worth it. The color I chose is nice, but this isn't at all what I wanted if I were going to go for a single color with no design. I like that they paint pretty close to the cuticle line. The tip of one of my pointer fingers is kind of messed up. I tried to tell her it didn't seem dry, but getting her to listen to anything was not an easy task.Again, this wasn't worth it. My fingers hurt so bad, I am *still* stressed from how bad my experience with them was, I am unhappy with my nails because they lied to me about being able to do a simple line until the very end. Yet said they can do it next time somehow? That doesn't make any sense. She just didn't want to do it. She tested with colors that I did not choose, but it looked terrible so I told her not to do it (which I'm quite certain was her intention). There will not be a next time. I will not be going back.Services: Pedicures

My friend and I booked pedicures here on a whim, as we don’t live in this area but found it to be a good meeting spot. Anyways, the ladies were very nice, salon looks great and they had tons of colors!! Loved my pedicure and the outcome of my nails!! Thanks so much!! Will recommend!

I've had a pretty decent service at Bruce nails. Better than somewhere else where they do not care about customers

My wife Dee went to see Trish and had the experience of her life. She received a perfect dip manicure and a deluxe pedicure. The staff there was so detailed in their work, courteous, professional and friendly. Anything you want done you let Trish know, and she will make it happen. If you ever need pedicure manicure, go to Bruce’s nails in Burlington mass. My wife traveled from Methuen to Burlington so that she could enjoy this experience. Thank you so much for all you did. And she will be back!!!Services: Manicures

After a stellar pedicure, Trang quickly hooked me up with a sparkly new dip manicure that got me compliments from 3 women at various places I ran errands. Definitely going back!

This was the worst nail salon I have ever been to. All the workers were very aggressive and made me bleed. I asked for a flower and I got polka dots. I do not recommend ever going here.

Don’t go upstairs if they ask youI’ve gotten my nails done here pretty regularly for the past 6 months and I’m usually on their first floor and have never had an issue. Back in December they asked me to go up to the second floor and I said sure and it was clear the woman who did my nails was either just learning or just not as good as others and I didn’t like my nails but didn’t say anything and figured it was a one time thing. Today I was asked to go to the second floor and I said ok, I regret that. The woman who did my nails for a fill took 1 hr and 35 minutes compared to the usual 45 minutes which I wouldn’t have minded if they actually came out nice. This woman filled and shaped my nails ok but then when she was done filing when they usually ask you to wash your hands to get the acrylic dust off she didn’t and instead just used a paper towel to wipe them off. My nails currently feel like sandpaper under the polish. In addition she skipped putting on a base coat and when she did the color polish would only paint two nails at a time and then make me put them under the light, this was very time consuming considering she applied three coats of color. She also used a dry brush around my cuticles to get the polish off my skin because she did it so messy, but didn’t dip it in any type of alcohol just used it dry which resulted in the polish being caked into my cuticles and all over my fingers. Then she applied a layer of top coat and my nails looked nothing like the dark purple I picked out but I just wanted to leave at this point. I can’t believe I spent $40 to look like a mess. Won’t be going back, and if you do go don’t let them send you to the second floor.
