When I walked in there were 2 tellers and no customers yet it took 20 minutes to get a replacement debit card. I’m patient but this is unacceptable.

I do the daily banking for my workplace and, even though this is the closet branch to where I work, I drive out of my way to go to the Winchester location because their service is 10x better. I also find it odd that, in the 10 to 15 times I’ve been to this branch (shows you how much I avoid this location), the same teller has told me my deposit has been $5 off on two separate occasions. I’m very careful with my workplace’s funds, so I find this to be a very strange coincidence, especially because this has never once happened in Winchester (and I’ve been going there daily for the past 8 months). One of the deposits that the teller claimed to be off by $5 was for a small $62 deposit ($22 of which was a check, so it would’ve only been $40 in cash). When I explained that I’d just counted the money before coming in to make the deposit and had the full amount there, she pushed back, said I must’ve made a mistake (because her machine is never wrong) and rudely suggested that I be more careful counting in the future. Both times, I ended up just taking a $5 out of my own wallet and giving it to her. I’m sorry, but I know the difference between $40 and $35. I also dislike the fact that the counters are so high that I can’t watch the tellers processing my deposits. Coincidence or not, I’m going to skip this branch at every opportunity I get.

I had been an Citizens Bank customer for eight years and then ended my relationship with the bank round 2010. I don't recall why I terminated my membership with a Citizens Bank but I was dissatisfied. I fix computers for restaurants. I had Aamir $250 check which was drawn from citizens Bank. It was a printed business check I had my identification I went to a local branch and took about 20 minutes for them to verify it. Then the smart a** behind the counter who appeared to be a teenager, informed me that there's a seven dollar fee to cash the check after you already begin the process and I had waited 20 minutes. He intentionally did not tell me that there was an unconscionable fee when I first requested to cash the check. There is no justification for seven dollar fee to cash a check when it's drawn from said bank. They have the money from my customer's business account. It costs citizens Bank more for me too received the check sign it and deposit it in my Bank of America checking account. That requires communication and transfer between two banking entities. However I saved him the trouble by going directly to my customers bank and get cash from them without involving my bank in the first place. I save the bank money and they charge me seven dollars for their convenience. I implore anyone whom is looking for a bank to avoid citizens Bank. If you are a business owner and you have a business account with citizens Bank be aware that you were short changing your contractors by at least seven dollars per payment. Citizens bank is not a community Bank. Citizens bank is not a local bank. Citizens bank is owned by united bank of Scotland. Two weeks ago I cashed two separate checks from a customer. This customer has two separate locations with two separate names and are two separate entities. I went to my local Eastern Bank in Lexington Massachusetts where I live. They verified both checks with the bookkeeper. They paid me a combined $600 in cash and didn't charge me any fees. There is no justification for charging me seven dollars to collect the money which I am entitled to from the bank in which the check was written. I will never become a Citizens Bank customer again. And if I receive a payment from a customer who uses citizens bank I will send the check back to them. Citizens bank is going to negatively affect my Boston area customers because I will not accept payments via business checks drawn from citizens bank accounts. Citizens bank attempt to bully folks into becoming a Citizens Bank customer. When did banking become so unethical?

very good service, very professional, knowledgeable and willing to help stuff, and absolutely gorgeous tellers - given their banking skills, it is a very good added bonus! Very good Branch Manager too - one of the best I experienced at Citizens.

Though I can't speak for the rest of the service, the cashier who "helped" me was absolutley terrible. Very rude, not helpful whatsoever, and thanks to her, I'm definitley not coming back again -- I'll go the extra distance to get to a different Citizens Bank. (Note: such bad service that I took the time out of my day to make an account and write a review...)
