Lazy workers milked their clock as much as possible. The owners/managers didn't care and did not take any responsibility for them. They are nice when you are booking but after that, they are worthless and shady.

Would never use them again. Said they would be there between 2-4. Called them at 4. They said 55 minutes. Called again at 6. I told the owner I thought I was being scammed. He threatened to cancel my move after I gave a $360 deposit. He told me he was doing me a favor by not raising the price since it cost more after 5. When they arrived at 6:30, they told me I could pay what I could and they would balance bill the rest. I thought that meant I would receive a bill in the mail. Well, it ended up to be $1400 for a move that was 10 minutes away. They loaded up the truck pretty quick but took their time unloading. I didn't have much big furniture. They wanted the balance due when they finished at midnight. I told them I didn't have the rest and I was supposed to be billed. Their boss told them not to leave until they got paid. I paid them $400 and maxed out my credit card and told them I can't pay the rest. They asked me to call the boss. The scum bag wouldn't answer the phone. They would get 1 star but the movers did work hard and were very polite and got a generous cash tip by my son. The owner is a piece of crap. Never again. Don't use Gentle Movers.

Guys did a great job. Chris Gayle was our Foreman and he was amazing. Robert Pace was our Driver and moving professional and also this guy blew my mind what he could move. Shayne and Dexter were also very good. My biggest issue is that I figured I could leave a little light packing to do while they moved everything out. Nope they were so fast I could not keep up. I highly recommend these guys and for sure ask for Chris as your foreman. Just get out of their way and try to keep up!

Chris Gayle and the crew were very professional during the move. Service with a smile, good humor, and seriousness matters a great deal while tackling the frustrating part of moving out/in. I don't think anybody looks forward to moving as an enjoyable experience. However, these guys were knowledgeable and helpful. We'll use their services again.

It's been three years now and I still get my letters returned to me, my attorney gets his letters returned. We have tried calling customer service and they just disconnect the phone. What kind of company is this? They do not care about their customers AT ALL. They just try to go as slow as they can because the more hours they work the more money we have to pay. We'll I strongly advice you never to use them. You will regret it. Three years later and I'm still trying to get money for all the damage they caused. On February 22, 2015, we had three men from Gentle Movers arrive at approximately 3:00 pm to begin our move at 6312 Inwood Drive, Woburn, MA 01801. They had me sign a slip for insurance and he verbally told me (my friend Jackie was there and heard him say it) "if you initial here this will insure that your property will be insured by us." It basically stated that everything would be insured for $0.60/pound. They began by taking apart my daughters beds which took approximately one hour. One man worked on this while one man manually (without a 2-wheeler) took down boxes from the third floor in the elevator and one man stood outside. They would then disappear for 15-20 minutes at a time. Once they found out about the free TV next door they disappeared for about a half hour which I was being billed for. I finally heard them come out of the apartment and they thought it was funny and was trying to figure out how they would fit the TV in the truck with all of my stuff. They had no concern for working for me whatsoever. At about 5:00 after slowly taking only the girls beds and part of the living room and a few things from the loft down to the truck they decided to order pizza. They said to me that they would definitely be out by 7:00 which after the pizza arrived turned into 8:00. In the meantime, my parents kept calling the owner to complain about them going next door to watch the free TV and their disappearing. They were told that the foreman, Chris, would call them and explain why they were next door. When the foreman called my mother he said they were looking at a TV not watching it and that he had to go get the other two men out of their but the truth is I saw HIM (the foreman, "Chris") in their looking at the TV. So he lied to my mother. He kept telling my mother on the phone that they were leaving in 15 minutes which turned into 3 hours. He also told her that they "just hired the two men on Saturday and they had never moved a day in their lives and he had to take on the load." Which to me means only one person was working as he had to "fix all of their mistakes." Finally, at 8:00 p.m. they left Woburn after me. It took me 15 minutes to arrive at 3 Dolly Brook Circle, North Billerica, MA 01862. They finally arrived at 9:00 p.m. They could not back the truck down the driveway because they did not know how to drive it, so the truck had to stop in the middle and was at an incline. They opened the truck and stuff started falling out. A box fell out and they said "don't worry it's just the pots and pans." My dad was furious. He actually had to help them unload because they were so slow and it was getting so late. My two daughters, 7 and 5 were still up and waiting for their toys to arrive and couldn't sleep till they knew they were here. Once the furniture started coming out we started seeing the TV stand was separated at the joints and dented. The coffee table looked like a dog chewed the corners off. My daughter's makeup table which Santa brought her was completely broken in four pieces (which they tried to say they took apart and was going to put back together and covered up with a blanket as they brought it in the house). Their life size dollhouse was scratched up really good and the roof was coming off. One of my kitchen chairs was scratched completely across the back. And when the guys were moving a dresser upstairs they put a dime si
