The employees here are great aside from an older gentleman who tends to work the cash register. I have no idea why he is stationed there as he seems to want to help as little as possible. Both times I had to return something with him he was not only poor mannered (no thank you or sorry, not even HELLO etc) but also gave up if the transaction required anything more than scanning bar codes.
I just avoid buying or returning anything here if I see him working the register now (I shop here a lot!!). It seems like I'm not the only person who has had unpleasant experience with him as he even messed up the transaction for the woman in line before me.
He does not listen either, to any feedback that I gave him to try to help him with the transaction. I suggest he be placed elsewhere in the store....

I have never left a Google Review of a retail location before, but felt inclined to for this J Crew location because I have never received worse treatment in a retail store before.They did not abide by J Crew's corporate return policy, refusing to allow me to return an item I purchased during the holiday season. Store associates and the store manager pressured me to return my item for an in-store credit, and then rolled their eyes at me when I declined to. I ended up contacting corporate J Crew after I left this location, and corporate verified my item was able to be returned. I ended up returning my item at the Copley Place J Crew location, and received excellent customer service there with no issues.This took place in January, 2024.

The store is not very big. There's not a whole lot of selection here. I didn't end up buying anything, but I did find some things online I ended up ordering.

Beautiful store! And Summer is amazing!jCrew is fortunate to have such a pleasant and engaging person on staff. She greeted me warmly as soon as I walked into the store and made sure that I knew about all of the current promotions.

Had to make a return from online purchase. The staff was very helpful as it was past the normal return date (Christmas gift). It was much appreciated that they accepted this return.

One star is even to much to this place , had a bad experience , I bought a 98$ sweatshirt and I washed it because usually wash clothes before I wear them , it shrieked 100 times to the point it wasn't fit me anymore, so i went to return it because of the bad quality and the cashier was shouting on my face and throw it as soon as i said I washed it, he was very loud and very rude , saying I can't take this back because you washed it, long story short, never going back again.

Had a great experience suit shopping here. I needed a suit for a wedding in 2 weeks, and their stylist, Max, was awesome. They had plenty of sizes to try and we ended up finding a great fit thanks to Max’s advice. In and out in 20 minutes!
