The worst customer service!I checked 1 item online which was $21 for my daughter's birthday. Went to the store, the same dress was $42. I asked to do price match. The lady said she was not going to do a price match, if I want for $21, I have to order online. Because of limited time I can not wait for online order and I explained her, she did not care. BeforeI had an experience with that, I choose online and buy in store. They never refused to do that. But this time I saw the worst customer service.Folks, check online before buying from Janie and Jack store. There is a HUGE difference between prices. Just don't buy in store if you don't want to pay double!

The level of customer service from the staff at this location is sorely lacking. Female manager is very rude and cold. She is even nastier when you have a return. I hate going to this location. Service was never like this at the Nashua, NH store.

I wasn't surprised to see two negative reviews preexisting mine and no positive ones, and both about the service here. The manager is super rude. I don't often write negative reviews (you can check my review history) but it's really over the top here and for me it hasn't been an isolated event; it's been this way for years now. If you ever come into this store to return anything, she won't even make eye contact with you. It's as if she's angry with you for needing to return something - which is ridiculous since (1) it's HER JOB; and (2) online shopping is the future of all brands, including J&J, and the need for returns is part of what keeps the physical boutique shops open - a lot of people won't buy online if they have to deal with mailing their returns back. On this most recent occasion there were two registers open, and an associate was helping the woman in front of me. I had to wait quite awhile because the manager, who was not busy with any other customer, and clearly saw us, just let us sit there in line waiting for the person in front of us, who happened to have some issue that took quite awhile. It was so outrageously rude that the associate even shot me a sympathetic look. I could have said something but I am not confrontational and I know what I get when I go in there for a return; I was already anticipating rudeness if she was working there (I have even attempted to avoid 8-5 hours, which managers usually take, just to avoid her). In the future I will deal with the packaging and post office rather than deal with this rude lady. It's too bad because I'll order less from J&J and I won't have the opportunity to spot items in the store that I missed online or that look better in person, but that's what bad business gets you. If you don't like customer service, get a new job.

Wow search a poor experience today. I asked for the clothes to be put in the gift box which they always do. But instead I got the flat box and lid separately and I have to put it together myself.

I was a regular here up until today. I tried returning some clothes that were purchased a week or two ago and while I mentioned that I did not have the physical receipt, I also noted that I didn't have an email receipt and asked if store credit was possible. The person who I was dealing with (believe it to be the manager) made some remarks about not understanding why I'd not have emails and insinuated it was my fault. No demand was made about having to return the clothes and I would've accepted a no refund without receipt response assuming no snide comments. The whole interaction from her was rude and obnoxious and I will no longer be making any more purchases from this brand.

Adorable clothing for babies and kids, but a bit pricey for every day clothes.

Love the clothing and buy a lot for my two years old girl but this store in Burlington drives me crazy the people are rude and not helpful and very difficult - over Christmas I had lots of cupom send by mail I went there to buy and forgot the cupons so I said I was going to comeback other time with the cupons the manager said I could buy and bring bring the cupons later and that I had 7 days to use my cupons - so I bought my presents and comeback after Christmas on 26th I drove all the way from my home just to bring the cupons and guess what ???!!! When I got into the store she didn't accept my cupons. I was super desapointed and frustrate this store just doesn't care at all never they don't accept online returns with out complain they saying they are independed store I just dislike this place so much!!! This is my opinion I am a good Costumer and I am very very desapointed!!

If it were possible to leave less than one star I would. Clothes are cute enough but service at this location is so bad. I tried to exchange pants / shirt received as a gift for a smaller size. Tags were on and I had the receipt. They refused and said the gift giver had to make the exchange? What? The customer service was horrible...the manager Colleen was rude through the entire exchange. I won't be going back...so many cute kids clothes elsewhere with far less hassle.
