Showed up for my Dr. referred appointment and was told ahead of time that they took my insurance. When I got there they told me that because I have two forms of insurance that they could not take my insurance. I informed them that every place I have gone that takes my insurance usually picks the one that works with their practice. I was told that even though they take one of my insurances that they could not take it because I had a secondary insurance even if I wasn’t using the secondary. They then told me it would be $65/visit. So to recap I made an appointment in advance and was told my insurance would work. I got a babysitter for an early morning. Then I was told that the insurance I had that would have worked won’t work because I have a secondary insurance(even though I wasn’t planning on using it). I was told that it’s the practice’s decision whether they want to take my insurance (which I was told they take) or not because of the secondary insurance and that they would still not take my insurance even with a referral/prescription.

So far it’s been a great experience. I leave feeling limber, not sore and more energetic. I ankylosing spondylitis along with other physical health issues so staying moving is key but hard when I’m in so much pain. My doctors wanted me on numerous different medications but so far PT is already helping me stay motivated now that I know how to properly work out and be active.

I call Jeanne the PT Whisperer!!! Honestly, it's like she knows what is wrong intuitively and just starts to fix it the very first day. I am still amazed!! Thanks to Jeanne I have been pain free for a couple of years....
