If I could give no stars I would. I decided to give this place a try because it is closer to my house than my regular place but boy was this a big mistake. Less than a week later the dip polish is cracking and one of my nails is completely chipping off. I went back and to see if they could/would fix it and was rudely told no and then told they were closed. Not only was it 5:20pm (and they close at 7pm), she was in the middle of painting another girls nails. I was more than willing to sit and wait until she was done but she did not care and very rudely dismissed me. All I wanted was for my 1 nail to be fixed especially since they are big on telling clients dip will last 3-4 weeks. Well I didn't even make it a whole week and the nerve of them to not honor their service and try to rectify the situation. I will never return and am highly disappointed and disgusted with how rude she was too me.

Make an appointment... or not? You'll probably still be waiting around on the weekend one way or another. Arrived with a group of 3 for a noon appointment on a Saturday. They accepted far too many walk ins for the time slot with their staff on hand and pedicure stations ready. No apology or acknowledgement of the wait. I waited 30 minutes before I was invited to sit down in the chair. One of the nail techs started the water which was lukewarm. She increased the temps but an additional 30 minutes later of soaking obviously leads to the temperature dipping again. 1 hour after the "appointment" time they finally start the actual pedicure process. My companions are mostly done and moved onto the manicure station... Unfortunately the nail tech encountered a very PAINFUL ingrown toenail. I think she exacerbated it so afterwards I limped around for the rest of the day. The technique was also very sloppy. She globbed far too thick of coats for the big toes... I waited a sufficient amount of time where all of the other toes dried fine. Of course the big toes get dented. What a waste of money. One woman who was waiting around sighed in despair that she was so late for everything else in the rest of her day. Skip this place unless it's empty unless you have lots of free time to kill waiting around for 2+ hrs before your next event in the area.

I was new to the area and found this place driving through town. The first time I went, Annie, the owner, did such a wonderful job on my acrylic set that I was immediately enamored. Unfortunately, that was the only time that I walked away pleased with the services. I become very loyal to a business fairly quickly, and so I came back intermittently over the course of a year only to be disappointed over and over. Once, I made an appointment over the phone only to find that no one had added it to the schedule. This was very frustrating since I had scheduled plans. That could be forgiven, but I really do not like people forcing products on me. Annie is a Mary Kay rep, and I have been forced to sit while she and her supplier did entire sales pitches by pretending to just "go over how fabulous all the new products are!" and waving them between my face and my hands. Once when I didn't show interest, actually having to swivel my face because the woman was putting the product closer and closer, the supplier moved on to a woman getting a pedicure. They have told me the credit card machine is broken, or they don't have one, and then I walk over to Walgreens to get cash. I was blaming myself in the beginning, thinking I must have forgotten their policies, only to have my debit card be accepted the following appointment. I would suggest bringing cash, just in case. More recently, I thought I had upset Annie in some way as she stopped doing my nails and kept relegating the task to an inexperienced girl who is still figuring out the sanding tool, but I realized I'm just not one of the regulars who have kids Annie's children's ages. These ladies buy the Mary Kay products and bring in cardigans they think Annie might like. (At first I thought this was really sweet, but now I've seen the difference in the way regulars and non-regulars are spoken to; Annie is a very good saleswoman.) Lastly, they go at a pretty leisurely pace. At any other nail salon, the entire process (including dry time) is about an hour or so. Here, the process alone takes an hour and the dry time is hard to judge. They only have a little light bulb or something in a counter to the side, so I usually leave around the 10-15 - minute mark. I should probably stay longer because each and every time I accidentally brush my keys, or I unknowingly swipe by something to find that I have ruined the nail polish. I won't be coming back to this nail salon because I am looking for service that takes just the typical hour, done well and painlessly by professional staff who treat all customers equally.

I went here once and only once! I went to have a gel manicure which i was able to peal off 2 days later. I also tanned there once and it was horrible! They have a stand up booth in the back that is filthy and they leave the back door open so there are things flying around in the booth as you are trying to tan. The manicurist are not personable at all and fly through the service. I will never go back here especially with a new salon Calming Lotus that is so much nicer and cleaner across the street.

Update: I went today for a gel manicure. I hadn't been here in about a month. The last time the credit card machine was broken which was fine - it happens. However the machine was STILL out of service today. How long does it take to fix a credit card machine? This is an inconvenience - a lot of people rarely carry cash these days.

I just needed a wax- eyebrows and lip. I walked into this place and looked at the price listings- I didn't see waxing on the list so I turned around to leave.. and I hear "can I help you?" I told her "I'm sorry I just need a wax, I didn't know you only did nails here" and of course she said "no, no! we do waxing!" I initially thought 'whoops, I totally missed that on the service/pricing list' and proceeded to follow the woman to a pedicure chair. she told me to have a seat and that another woman would be right over. this other woman came over after just a few minutes. I started to stand up, thinking she was going to lead me into a private room, but nope. she told me to stay seated in this UPRIGHT pedicure chair. she then put down this disgusting cardboard box that was falling apart. she reached into the box and pulled out a dusty old waxing kit and proceeded to set it up. I started to panic because of the entire situation but especially because of how dirty this box appeared. not to mention people were staring at me in horror because of the sketch level. I tried to tell her nevermind, telling her she shouldn't have to set up this entire station just for one customer. she insisted I stayed, and I stupidly did. I didn't want to be rude and the place was very busy at the time, with literally 10 people staring at me since I was in the middle of the salon. I sat upright the entire time. she waxed my eyebrows, made them crooked/uneven but whatever, I could fix it. then she waxed my lip and re-waxed the same spot twice, causing me to bleed. I had one drop of blood dripping about a half inch down my face, and a speck of blood on the other side of my lip. she then glopped on a shitload of aloe which then dripped into my shirt... the next day my entire lip and brow area broke out in a weird zit/rash combination and it was SO itchy. then a corner of my lip (the one that had been dripping blood) became infected. to top it off, I am finally able to get waxed again (skin wasn't healed enough to be waxed for a month)... and I went to the place across the street from this awful place and they told me canton nails isn't even licensed to do waxing. they are supposed to be strictly nails. so that's nice... never again.

I ran into this little place near me with only an hour to spare for a Mani & Pedi. It looked kinda sketchy from the outside, but the inside was clean and was your standard small nail salon with a handful of massage chairs (4) and manicure stations.(6). I was a walk-in and it was a peak time, it looked as though everyone was busy with a customer. I politely asked if I could get a Pedicure, she said to pick a color. After the color selection, I asked if it would be possible to get both a mani and pedi within the hour. She said "we start now!" My pedicure began as normal. Then I was pleasantly surprised to find another girl wheeled herself over and started to do my hands at the same time! I was out within 45 minutes. I'll definitely make this place my regular nail salon now.

Very happy with my pink and white nails - the original salon did a horrible job on my fill-in, Canton nail really took the time to fix and perfect my nails. I'm very happy! Also - the staff was very friendly!

I went here as a walk-in client. It's located in Canton center. Everyone was very welcoming. It was busy with what seemed to be regulars on their appointments. An Asian man did my nails. He was so gentle, careful, and detailed when he did my nails. He did a great job blending the acrylic from my previous set which I got from a different salon that didn't do such a great job. I've gotten many compliments on how natural they look and the their prices are certainly reasonable. Definitely will be going back. :)

Please don't go here! It's gross. It wreaks of chemicals from a lack of ventilation, and there are only two pedicure chairs HIDDEN in a back room. They are ANCIENT and filthy. One of the chairs' foot rest is literally covered in DUCT TAPE! The tubs that you're expected to soak your feet in are stained brown. I literally had an anxiety attack when I saw this. The poor girl came over and placed a piece of paper towel over the duct taped cushion. I could have died on the spot. My girlfriend and I literally ran out of there. There's no way I was going to put my feet in that germ pit. I'm so surprised that they're running a business like this. I would NOT recommend this place if you care at all about cleanliness. I'm haunted by what I saw there, and wish I had taken a picture. Too bad I was paralyzed with shock and utter horror. Please please please don't do it, you're feet will thank you.
