We had the best experience we could have hoped for at Bright Horizons Charlestown Navy Yard. It is the most reliable center around. We had incredible teachers who are fun, smart, caring, loving, and talented.
Bright Horizons provided an incredible foundation for my son to prepare him to grow in the world from 4.5 months through 4.5 years.
The BH community in this center was also excellent. We made lots of family friends through this amazing place.

We had an amazing experience with the infant program. Unfortunately we moved and had to transition our daughter, but we keep in touch with her teachers and know she misses them. BH is the best of the best. They are communicative, helpful, caring and knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend this center to any parents <3

What an amazing group of teachers! Every infant teacher puts so much love into their students and they go above and beyond to make our girl’s day. The class is clean and the curriculum is great. We are so happy with our experience with Miss Gen and Miss Sharon in Infant 2.

We have been going to Bright Horizons at Charlestown for over 5 years. We love it. Everyone is so caring and the children feel very comfortable there. The activities are fun and I love that they go outside twice a day at least. The space is bright and clean. We have been so happy with Bright Horizons at Charlestown.

BH at Charlestown has been terrific and best choice we had since our 2 year old enrolled last year. The teachers in toddler classroom are patient, kind, experienced, which promoted our kid's social skills, vocabulary, emotional expressions. We couldn't have done with by keeping him at home, let alone other BH sites in the neighborhood. The center has a variety of activities to each classroom every day, from large to small motor skills, eye-hand coordination, painting, crafting, caring, sign language. And they have a pretty sizable classroom, with ample sunlight with large windows (if facing north), and decent playground on premises that parents won't worry about street crossing. Oh I should also mention their photo taking skills are super!! Everything my best moments are seeing new photos of our kid at the center being posted to BH app. Thanks BH at Charlestown!!

We had the most wonderful experience with our son at Bright Horizons Charlestown and are sad to be leaving (we are moving outside of Boston). Our son started when he was 9 months old and is now 2 years old. Ms. Merita, Ms. Mariana, Ms. Ana, Ms. Hannah, and Ms. Debra were all so kind any loving. Our son would run into the building excited to see his friends and teachers. He grew and developed so quickly in the center. We loved the Bright Horizons app where we received updates throughout the day. We also thought that the center navigated illness very well (not easy). Only great things to say about the teachers and management!

Only positive things to say about this center. My daughter loved going here. The facilities are top notch, the teachers are so loving, you get updates and pictures of what your child is doing throughout the day, just great! 100% recommended!

We were with BH in the Navy Yard for two years and had an extremely positive experience. Within the first weeks at the Infant room, I felt incredibly comfortable with the staff. From the cleanliness of the room to the care of the staff, it was all very comforting for a first time parent. Our experience in the Toddler room was top notch too. My biggest takeaway from this Center is how deeply each and every teacher cares about the children. They all truly care about their jobs and the role they play with children each day. I give this center five stars and would highly recommend it to any parent looking for daycare.

BH Navy Yard took such great care of our boys while we were in Charlestown. All of the teachers and the administrators have been so wonderful and like an extended part of our family over the last 2+ years.
The teachers were all warm, friendly, patient and literally, excited to see our kids every day. They helped my boys to grow, learn, and have so much fun every day. They are kinder, smarter, patient and more curious boys having been under their guidance.
There is also a great community of working parents in BH and we made friends just as our kids did!
We just left BH due to moving and will miss everyone there! Highly recommend!

The center has been great to us and our son for 3 years! The guidance he has received as well the development that he’s been able to achieve has been wonderful. All of his teachers he has had as well as the entire management team are superb. I would highly recommend this Bright Horizons to anyone looking for child care in the area!

As soon as my wife and I knew we were pregnant we visited the Charlestown Bright Horizons center and loved it. We filled out our application indicating when she was due and when we’d need to start.
The application required a deposit to be added to the waitlist. We provided a deposit for the center on Constitution Ave, and at the recommendation of the staff, also placed a deposit to be added to the waitlist at the Schrafts building.
Knowing daycare in Boston can be challenging to get, we asked questions about the waitlist and our place on it. While the staff couldn’t tell us what place we were on the list at that time, because we were 10 months away from needing daycare they indicated it wouldn’t be a problem.
A few weeks after the birth of our daughter we informed Bright Horizons that she had arrived into the world and would be ready for daycare at the time we requested on our application. We heard back right away and the center said they would check the availability of both locations we placed deposits on and get back to us.
We never heard back. We called. We left voicemails. We called again. We emailed. We heard nothing. This went on for weeks.
Unable to get a hold of anyone at Bright Horizons, and with my wife going back to work in just two weeks, we panicked and found daycare elsewhere.
A month later, I finally got a hold of someone at Bright Horizons and I asked for my deposits to be refunded. Unfortunately, I still haven’t heard back and I don’t believe I ever will.
I’m leaving a 1-Star rating because my wife and I both feel mislead by Bright Horizons. They accepted our waitlist deposit, 10 months ahead of knowing when we’d need daycare, and then disappeared.

Very negative experience with my son here. Had to take him out after 3 weeks because he would often come back with poop on his clothes. The tipping point came when we learned that he hadn't been fed one entire day he was there.
To make matters worse, even in these circumstances, Bright Horizons required us to pay an additional 30 days to not have our child at their facility.
Would not recommend.
