The USS Constitution Museum serves as the memory and educational voice of the historic USS Constitution, also known as "Old Ironsides." The museum collects, preserves, and interprets the stories of the ship and those associated with it, aiming to engage all ages in the maritime culture, naval service, and American experience. The museum strives to be the best based on scholarship and innovative ways of sharing the Constitution's stories. Visitors praise the museum for its knowledgeable staff and interactive, fun exhibits that teach a lot about the ship and its history. The museum is located in a great spot, next to the USS Constitution itself. Many find the museum worth the suggested donation, with one reviewer noting it takes around 1.5-2 hours to explore it fully. While the museum experience is generally praised, the gift shop can be a bit pricey, surprising some visitors. Nevertheless, the museum is considered a solid stop and a nice complement to the USS Constitution, providing an engaging and educational experience for all ages.
Been going here since I was a kid. It is a fun museum and very kid friendly. If you live in the area and have an interest in model ship building check out the USS Constitution Model Shipwright Guild. Very knowledgeable and dedicated folks.

I thought this was a good place to go. The staff seems very knowledgeable and the interactive stuff is fun. Teaches you a lot. Not to mention the gift shop has some cool things. My only problem is the size.
