Visited the pharmacy area as the minute clinic had just closed. I was stung twice by a yellow jacket. On the knee and left upper eye lid. It was sore, a little swollen and my doctor's office was also closed. The pharmacist was busy but came over to advice me. Took a look and strongly suggested I contact my provider for direction. I called my pcp and was told to wash the infected area, ice it, and pick up some benadryl. The pharmacist came over and helped me locate exactly what I needed. It was great advice and excellent service. Thank you CVS pharmacy staff in charlton, ma.

CVS has got to be the worst pharmacy out there. You call and get a computer talking to you. You are forced to re-enter personal data multiple times to move forward. According to what is probably an AI computer, my order was completed with a 7 PM pickup time. Two days later I called in to see if it was ready. No. There was no order placed.On another occasion, the order was transferred to another CVS, much further away. When calling back to refill it, that prescription # did not belong to me. (Each CVS assigns their own prescription numbers) So, the local CVS did not have it in stock and had not acted upon the phone order.CVS does not hesitate to cash in on all of the prescriptions they fill, but their service is not true customer service.Any good pharmacy chain has the opportunity to outshine this CVS chain and take over based on this type of service.

I was told to call pharmacy after my husband picked up a prescription. No one answered the phone was on hold for 1 1/2 hours. Sounds crazy to wait that long but I was sick so I didn't care. Left phone beside me. Then when I said something got short staff.

Went to get my granddaughters prescription; I had her and her 2 siblings in the truck, all not feeling so good. I decided to go through the drive through. I paid, asked the girl behind the window to throw my change in the bag which she did. She placed the CVS plastic bag in the window tray, I grabbed the bag and drove off. Arrived at the house, got all the kids inside. Opened the CVS bag and there was no prescription. I called the cvs,and was told that someone there said I was asked to wait??? No such conversation took place. I wasn't even in the building. So, they didn't put the prescription in the bag and then lied saying I was told to wait??? I then spoke to the manager Melissa, who said they have no way to deliver and she would review the tapes. Highly incompetent and no help.

I needed a common Rx for my routine (I hope) GI exam in the morning. They had none in Charlton CVS but 2 stars for sending me to Oxford CVS where they have cases of the stuff.

The pharmacy continues to fill my older prescriptions and not the newer updated ones. I use the website and have an account. I archive the older, no longer used prescriptions in hopes that they will not refill them, but they do. No wonder health care costs are rising, I have to keep throwing away medicine I can’t use. I’ll be looking for a new place to do my business. And don’t bother calling the pharmacy, they don’t answer the phone.

Cannot reach the pharmacy to ask question on medications! Called 3x , walked on hold only to be disconnected! Worse customer service. Tried to drive there, then they were closed for lunch. Please note, the times I tried to call they were not at lunch! Way to endanger the health of customers

I have been using this cvs pharmacy for prescriptions for years. In the past year, the pharmacy has become very difficult to deal with, especially the past month. The pharmacist Kate has been purposely not filling prescriptions for us. She will state that the insurance needs to be called, it needs a new script, it needs prior authorization, or it's out of stock. And when it's ready to be filled after 10 days, she cancels it, or makes us wait hours. It is very frustrating. We have only one pharmacy in town. But we had to switch to CVS 2 towns away in Auburn. Since then, 2 days ago, all the scripts we have been waiting weeks for have been filled. I don't know what is going on with the Charlton CVS, but it feels like the pharmacist, Kate, enjoys making filling scripts hard for patients. Please address this store and this specific pharmacist. Thank you

The pharmacy staff customer service is literally non existent they are just rude and awful ladies. They are never willing to help or sympathetic. And always have a miserable attitude when talking, whether on the phone or in person.

I needed a COVID test kit. None located in pharmacy area?? Only behind front of store register. No one working the registers today. Self serve only choice so no test kit. Waste of gas money going there ?

Friendly service at the Pharmacy, attentive and when asked a question there wasn't any problem getting the help you needed. The store is quite large, has all of those 'forgot to get' items. Staff is helpful to getting you where you need to be, they don't just point and guess the aisles, they lead you to the product you want.

One star is being generous. After getting transferred around for 30 minutes I was told the computers were off and they were going to lunch. Fill your prescriptions at the Webster Price Chopper. The employees are friendly and helpful.
