The sales staff is awful and rude, and they make you feel like you can’t afford to shop there. I normally would not care but they literally take items out of your hands when you are looking at them. After years of giving this place a chance and feeling that way, I won’t go back in after today. Noticing the other reviews with the same complaints they should probably make a change.

The owner and staff at this establishment are amazingly helpful, and dedicated to helping you identify lovely, flattering outfits that are complementary to you as an individual. I have been shopping here ~20 years, and I'm amazed by how relevant and stylish the options are at Violet's. I also love their abilities to fully accessorize your look - from outerwear (chic jackets/sweaters) to the perfect jewelry. I look forward to seeing what's new and pushing myself in new fashion directions each year at Violet's!

Horrible salesperson/manager. All about body shaming and complaining about babies crying outside of the store. Not exactly sure how this continues to happen after seeing all of these reviews. This women should be ashamed of herself. Women of all shapes and sizes are beautiful, clearly this was not part of the lesson taught to salespersons at Violet’s in Chatham.

It’s very evident it’s challenging to find decent employees. The woman working there on July 4 was obnoxious and very rude. We witnessed her treating a family in a very disrespectful manner. Hopefully they can find better help soon or the business will not survive .

Incredibly rude sales woman. I will never spend a single dollar at this establishment. I’ll make sure never to recommended this shop and will go out of my way to tell others to avoid it. This place has no idea how to treat customers. ZERO STARS.

Not worthy of a single star. We witnessed an employee treating a family very disrespectful. I felt really bad for the family. The sales person is hurting the business and reputation of Chatham being a welcoming town.

I can’t believe how I was just treated at this store and coming and seeing the other reviews, I guess it wasn’t just me. The sales person was horribly rude, disrespectful, and humiliating. I would NEVER recommend or support this company. Such a terrible experience and horrible staff.

A cute boutique! Pricey but good collection of cute clothing, althleisure, and accessories. But sorry...the absolute rudest sales associates again and again that I just can't give my business. Owner may want to take note that the girls working enjoy chatting with eachother about staying up til 3AM, being hungover, and rudely about their manager openly together in the shop versus helping customers. Curly hair with glasses was a particular treat tonight.

Fun Chatham shop to visit. Clothing is expensive but beautiful to look through. Fun jewelery and bags. They always carry the hobo international clutch which is one of my favorites
