Heart Pond Beach is a nice, small, and cute beach perfect for families and little kids. It is a great spot to look at, especially for amazing sunsets and pictures. The beach connects to the Bruce Freeman Trail for walking, biking, and is a great access point and place to park to start a trip. Kayaking is allowed and it is a perfect place to cool off, including with dogs, which must be kept on leash. Swimming isn’t the best and it is normally closed in summer due to algae blooms. Amenities include parking, a picnic area with tables, a playground with swings, and porta-potty toilets. Visitors recommend bringing bug spray.
