You can really judge a business by how they handle a mistake, and Johnson Paint handles them beautifully. A less experienced employee made a minor error regarding the paint finish, but Justin went above and beyond to correct it: he gave me more than I'd asked for without any additional charge. He was generous, friendly, and wonderfully helpful. I'd recommend this store, and Justin in particular. I'll be back!”

“This is what used to be called a "mom and pop" hardware store. It's small, by Home Depot standards, but it has an amazing inventory and enough people actually interested in helping you. If you live in the community and have a need for some piece of hardware, a tool, or fixture of some kind...come here first. If they don't have it, fine, hitch up your dog sled and go to Home Depot. But start here first. The town is worth it and so are the people who run this little jewel of a company ou!”

“I can't say enough good things about this hardware store. Unlike Lowe's or Home Depot, there's always knowledgeable staff available to answer any questions or to assist customers as needed. All of the staff are absolutely amazing and have always gone above and beyond, in my opinion. I've been there on countless occasions with a million questions or having absolutely no idea how to do something, yet somehow still always manage to leave with all the stock required and have been advised as to the best way to get the job completed. I won't go anywhere else.”

“These guys were great - we had a color mix up (computer not human error) and I was so impressed. They were able to adjust the already custom paint color to bring it into an acceptable match. That takes some skill. They stand behind their product. My go-to paint store from now on.”
“If I could, I would give this store six stars! We were looking for an uncommon paint that multiple Home Depot locations just couldn't help with. Some said the paint was discontinued, while others told me the paint code I had was wrong. I looked on line and saw this store fairly near to where I live. We walked in, and the gentleman working immediately asked us if we needed help? I told him just the paint code and he immediately said all the other details by heart! My wife and I were shocked! This man was a true professional and an expert in his field. He promptly went over and grabbed the paint for us. He asked us if we needed it shaken? He was already walking over to the machine as he asked us. This was the fastest, most fluid retail interaction I have had in years! He quickly helped us get rollers and other bits of kit to finish our project. No lie, I think we were in the store less than 7 minutes! My wife was so shocked at how great this representative was, she said out loud "So Professional!" Excellent experience!”

“I happened to stop by this store by chance, being in the area and needed something. What I expected was a paint store with the usual help that one might expect, I.e., get some questions answered and that is it. What I pleasantly discovered was that Van and Angela, who are there most days at the paint counter, were the most helpful and eager staff I could have encountered, I might say in any kind of a retail environment. I was in the discovery phase of color selection and Van not only helped mix some colors, but went above and beyond and helped me with preparing sample color boards. I was not expecting them to be so accommodating and all the while with such pleasant attitude. I went back there several times, well out of the way for me, to narrow down my discovery and each time I received the same level of focused attention and courteous service. The color I ended up with was a very specific and delicate blend of three base colors and Van was superb in matching the sample to the larger quantity I needed. I also happened to engage with Heidi in their Wallpaper section, and she was equally helpful. This review is to let anyone know that if you want to just buy paint and move on, any place might do. But, if you want great service and friendly help, then this particular store is the place to stop by.”
