Winestone is a great neighborhood wine shop and an amazing, unassuming store tucked on the side of Route 9. It is a high-end shop with a phenomenal selection, excellent Bordeaux, Burgundy, and California wines, and a superb and broad collection from all around the world. This includes not just typical regions but also unusual selections from places like the Finger Lakes, Hungary, Lebanon, and Georgia, with dedicated shelves for bottles under $15. The staff is welcoming, courteous, highly professional, friendly, and eager to help. They offer expert advice, are super helpful and informative, and never try to upsell. They are respectful of budgets and willing to help with suggestions, even picking out and boxing up wines for customers. Prices are excellent and of high value, with a store discount for buying twelve bottles. The shop is approachable and fun despite its traditional appearance. It has a small parking lot and two entrances. Finally, dropping by on a Saturday afternoon for their in-store wine tasting is a fun experience. It is the best in Boston by far.
