I always order and pick up in parking lot. Most of the time it is ok however this is the 2nd time an item has been expired in 1 day or moldy. I bought jerky exp 7/25 on 3/8 and it is already moldy. not going to be in the area for a week or so and they wont refund my card until then. Ridiculous. They said they need to send it back to manufacturer. The last time this happened I turned around and watched the girl throw it in the garbage. Inspect your food and expiration date especially if you pick up in parking lot.

Just like a Lot of experiences I’ve had in Chicopee. Constantly I order online due to my disabilities. Online it says in stock when I order. So how do they have the option to cancel my items and say out of stock. When I paid for my online order you had it. So BJ’s is not organizing their product for walkers and online orders. Leaving me the customer with less than. All because I literally can’t walk into a crowded store and pick up an items from the shelves on a day where I have a panic attack multiple times that day. Because I can’t always do it myself.

I regularly feel like I'm actually getting a good deal and not getting clobbered by inflation.

I have a large family, including 4 children (2 little ones & 2 teens) so I figured Bj's might be worth the trip. We live almost an hour away, so overall I'd say it had its pros & cons, but not a store I'd say is really worth revisiting too often. If you want to buy bulk, they do have larger sized items & multi packs of products that you may use already, such as pasta & sauce, all purpose baking mix, snack items like pudding cups, crackers, chips, granola bars, beverages such as sports drinks (Gatorade, Powerade) or other common foods (canned veggies, soup both canned & Ramen, cooking oil, flour, sugar, maple syrup, cereal, etc...) They also offer many of the same departments of smaller stores, such as produce, deli/meats, frozen foods, bakery, boxed & canned goods. You can also find several non food items such as toothpaste, shampoo, paper products, baby care, trash bags, dish liquid & laundry detergents. The prices are what really surprised me. While some ranged from decent to fairly good, many others were just fair, or even less expensive elsewhere. For example, prices of ground beef are cheaper at Walmart. Same with pasta sauce. Bj's carries brands like Ragu or Bertolli, but these can be found at stores like Aldi or Walmart for less. If you're on a tight budget, I'd suggest buying many items on your list elsewhere to save money or food benefits. However, if you are picky & must have name brands, such as Eggo waffles or Kraft Mac & cheese, this is a good option. If you're like me & prefer buying many items store brand/generic, you'll probably be disappointed with Bj's limited selection. They do carry a cheaper brand Wellsley farms, but again very limited variety & still cost less elsewhere for similar brands. Bakery items were rather expensive & the quality was honestly disappointing! My 7 year old picked out beautifully designed cupcakes that were extremely sweet & had awful tasting frosting with the texture of paste & were very dry. At $12.99 for a package of 12, these were definitely a total waste of money. Walmart or Price Chopper is cheaper & better tasting! The prices were definitely comparable. All registers whether self checkout or regular were extremely slow & you can expect a ridiculously long wait, as many shoppers have huge carts full. Bj's may be wholesale, but discount they are not! I did like that they had a Dunkin inside. I feel this store is aimed at middle to upper class families, more so than those trying their hardest to stretch a buck on their monthly or weekly grocery bill. They accept EBT, but those receiving SNAP would be much better off at other stores such as Aldi for a big shopping list. If I had a Bj's that was in town or a shorter drive, I may check it out every once in awhile....but they simply didn't have the value to make it worth the 45 min trip. I'd rate it a 5 on a 1-10 scale.

They have everything I need, even clothes that actually fit to size like leggings and jackets and shoes. It's so much cheaper to go here than go to a gas station for something quick when you would have had enough of it if you had just gone here. The lines have been way faster for a while now and gas prices are awesome! Really this place has it all. With all the prices of food and gas going up, it's nice to know that you can go here.

A manager at the BJ's in Chicopee that is called Day or Bee whatever her name is made my child feel like she was a drug addict because supposedly someone told her something that wasn't true. When speaking to my child she didn't even let my child speak and when she tried she spoke over her. My daughter was so hurt and angry but she swallowed her words and went on with her day. That manager is abusive and shouldn't be a manager at all. I can imagine how many other employees she has done this to and they didn't say or do anything. Most likely people in a higher position than cashiet have done the same thing. I feel sorry for them. She needs to get fired.

BJ’s helped local communities by getting a whole truck load of water, if it wasn’t for them bringing in so much water many people from the surrounding area would be boiling water. While Big Y upped the price for a 24 pack to the same price BJ’s sells for a 40 pack. Thank you for doing your part BJ’s.

We were just in the Chicopee store and were having trouble using the BJ APP. Destiny at the Supervisor’s Desk was so kind, patient, and helpful. When one gets excellent support like Destiny provided…. One really wants to shop at BJs!!!! ( and please know that I am not her relative). Thank you!

Lots of good products at good prices. Store is clean , associates helpful...meat department has gone downhill...had to throw away a steak a few months ago..yesterday opened a pkg of baby backs ribs, which I purchased yesterday, and the stench was incredible...should have returned them but that's a 30 mile round trip ...I will find a new place to buy meat...
