Good afternoon, I am writing to file a complaint about a recent experience at your store. I visited with my grandmother and daughters, and when we reached the register, the staff member directed us to a self-checkout register. I explained that we needed to complete three separate transactions - my daughter wanted to use her tooth fairy money, my grandmother was purchasing items, and I also had some purchases to make. When asked if we needed a bag, I said yes but requested not to scan it with the first purchase. However, the staff member misunderstood and put the bag away. I didn't mind putting the items in the bag as we were scanning then on the first purchase, then charge me for the bag after. However, when it came time for the second transaction, I reached to grab a bag from beside the register since the staff member had put it away. Despite this, she reached in front of me to scan the bag that she had put away earlier. I inquired, "Is this necessary? I can scan this on my own." She replied, "Yes, this is for associate checkout." I noticed that the register next to me also indicated the need for associate check out. I informed her that I didn't require her help and pointed out that another customer was scanning items on their own. She explained, "I am the only one here, I am assisting you and couldn't assist her." I found this explanation illogical because if she had to assist me due to the checkout message, she could have asked the other customer to wait for her help. I felt discriminated against by this employee who refused to leave me alone despite my insistence that I didn't need assistance, while she did not assist the white American customer next to me. want to suggest that if she was concerned about security, she should work in that area instead. As I was leaving, I overheard her speaking about me to someone else, which I found unprofessional. I always loved this store, specially with my little ones, is a great place for them to learn and spend their money. This was my first bad experience at FIVE BELOW AND HOPE TO NOT GO THROUGH THIS AGAIN OR FOR ANYONE TO GO THROUGH THIS.

Ok just got to this store and was like 6 people talking about the same items it's $5 so I ask a lady and the lady call the the Nasty manager witch give a bad attitude to everyone saying ...well it's not $ it's $25 if you don't want sorry for you..we told the sing said $5 not $25 well go somewhere else not in my store we all did put everything back went different stores.thos lady is unprofessional,Nasty,I would never come here.

Store was disappointing compared to my more local one. All small junk items and absolutely no home decor section to offer. I could not locate a cheap vase or anything like it to use for the life of me in there. Just a bunch of phone accessories and makeup or cosmetic products everywhere. I was disappointed and shocked.

Well it's not actually 5$ and below anymore in case people don't know, they have stuff for 10$ and more. But they did have stuff I was looking for and staff was helpful. Lot's of cheap stuff though that probably deserves to be at Dollar Tree (DON'T GO TO THAT PLACE!) lol.
