he sold me a car w a cracked differential, transmission and shock issues, and more in february for $12k and i have been reaping the consequences ever since. he completed one repair and left me screwed with the rest. after leaving my own well researched review (that was deleted by Matt) and attempting to find solution with him myself, i’ve been forced to go the court route. i write a review (again) for the sole purpose of warning others. i continue to deal w this cars issues every day. i have replaced so many parts out of pocket on a car i put 2k down on. every mechanic i bring this car to says it is a goner. i would have never set foot on this place had i done more research. one broken car sold for matt was a third of my yearly salary lost for me, not to mention the work i’ve had done on it. it’s heartbreaking. my attorneys have sent a letter, that was received. i hoped genuinely to find a solution with the business sooner rather than later, so this could all be put behind us.
unfortunately, the demand letter has been ignored and i must proceed. do NOT recommend this business. fraudulent and deceptive. go anywhere else and bypass the risk. people stop me all the time to tell me how pretty the car is, and i tell them exactly what’s wrong with it and who sold it to me.
as i check back on this review i notice another recent negative review regarding a tailgate has been removed. if my review is removed, i will be reposting it as well as my prior review and the response i received from the business.

Recently purchased a 2016 BMW X5, for $15k, from Matt's Auto Mall. 3 weeks after taking delivery of the vehicle, the engine started making noise. To make a long story, short, Matt ended up replacing the engine in the thing. No questions asked. He just took care of it. The thing runs and drives MINT. Thank You for everything.

Definitely would not recommend only had my car for 5/6 months and I still have to come out of pocket getting some many things on my car fixed nd all of those major things should have been done before even Purchasing the vehicle

I cannot say enough good things about Matt’s Auto Mall and Matt himself! We purchased my 17 year old daughter her first car and he and his family that work there with him were absolutely amazing. It only took a few days to get the car once we picked it out. It was such an easy process for us, he did so much for us! I felt like I barely did anything! He was kind and attentive to what we needed. We financed the loan through him and it was extremely convenient. I would absolutely recommend going to see Matt if you are in search of a car. They were genuinely so happy for my daughter that it was her first car and it made it extra special for her! He even gave her $20 to help fill her first tank of gas! It was so kind. I will definitely be back to see him in the future if I need another car.

Don't ever buy your car and if they tell you they got a guy in palmer to fix it don't do it they all work together. All the cars the get are from the auction in CT. They slap and extra 5 grand or more on all cars. Go anywhere but here

I bought a 2007 Toyota Tundra from Matt January of 2023 for $14,000 and had to return it multiple times for repairs because it wouldn’t pass inspection. A couple of times he held my truck for atleast a month. After about 4 months and 1,000 miles later I decided I was done dealing with Matt. Took my truck to Firestone where they did a diagnostic on my truck and proceeded to tell me the computer in my transmission was defecting and the only way to replace it is to replace the whole transmission. So guess what, I had to bring it back to the shady car salesman. He held my truck for 2 and a half months without lending me a loaner vehicle to use just for the truck to still have the same problems with the same check engine codes. I’m now in the process of dealing with the attorney general and small claims court because Matt won’t be an honorable businessman.

Not worth buying a vehicle from ,his vehicles only last 2 years and then fall apart , I bought a 2011 gmc canyon from him and the rocker panels where bad at the time I bought it and he didn't offer to fix them, very shady business.

Got a 07 civic back in June of 2022 , nice looking car but ended being a complete wreck!! I literally ended up replacing everything major in this damn car !!! First muffler fell off he fixed it , the radiator broke he fixed it , then one coil cable went out he fixed it with a junk yard one , because right after that check engine light came on car stalled , took it to a mechanic they said they cables were from junkyard, We did not get the extended warranty so after that it was a total disaster, next year came in 2023 needed a starter , then , the engine stalled needed a new coil again, engine kept stalling replaced all coils 200 bucks every time , yet car kept stalling, September comes around needs a sepertine belt , then serpentine belt falls off , October, they say engine is done , needs new engine!! I was sadly still paying for car till December so did not want to get a repo on my credit so I basically paid for a replacement engine 2600 !! With 875 labor , then alternator goes out , then battery , then ecoil pack !!! I basically paid to fix everything on this car !! And still it doesn’t run good at all !! I wasted my money , It’s beyond ridiculous, my advice don’t buy used cars period !! At least with no good warranty, I got car back a mow it has a oil leak , so decided to trade it in and basically lost all the money I put into it !!! Avoid this place just saying , I literally paid off a car that was not running just to avoid a repo !!!
