Service Rep Paul did an excellent job explaining problem found and found a less expensive part to use that served same purpose as expensive part that cut total price down somewhat.

I would leave ZEROOOO stars if I could. I waited 3 hours for tire installation. Turns out they were the wrong size. Ended up causing a bunch of issues to my vehicle over the next few weeks. Tried to explain to the manager and she told me to just call corporate, no apology, no offer to replace them. Extremely unhelpful and unsympathetic. I will NOT be coming back PERIOD. Get a manager that cares about customers.

Had a brake inspection and only need to replace the rear pads. Staff was friendly and explained items that should be fixed now and what can wait.

I made an appointment yesterday for 11am today. I explained what my issues were, and they said to leave my car because they were busy. I waited until 3:45 without hearing a word, so I called and they said they would call me back because they were busy still. I asked for an update and they said my car was still sitting outside! I wouldn’t have even known if I didn’t ask them. Then an hour later they called me back and said they couldn’t get ahold of their parts department so they couldn’t get the thermostat (what they decided was the issue) or give me a quote on how much it would cost me. They had my car for 6 hours and didn’t even do anything for it. No customer service. No apology for wasting my entire day. Don’t take someone’s car or allow available appointments to be booked if you can’t even fix the car!

**DISHONEST / GO ELSEWHERE** I was on a family trip from NY to MA and my 2010 Mazda 5 developed a constant grinding noise. I checked into my hotel on 8/29 and noticed a Monro Auto service near by. I went to Monro 7:30am the next morning, and was greeted by the manager. The mechanics were not in yet so I left my car but noticed a special promotion posted on the door where you could save $200 if you purchase brake pads/rotors and complete an additional service. I return back for the estimate which I thought was high and asked the manger if I could use the promotion posted on the door. She pointed at a wall inside the store and said the promotion ended in June. I explained to her on the front door that the promotion was good for July/August 2024 as well. Then she made up some story that the promotion was good for another service on a different day and not for the front brake service job and read the fine print. I took a picture of the promotion and went back to the hotel to rest.
When I returned back to Monro, they TORE DOWN the promotion off the door and stated $700 is the final price. Not sure if this is normal in MA, but they charge $39 for shop supply and disposal fee which I never seen in any other repair shops. I had a full itinerary planned for family road trip and did not argue further. However the whole entire weekend I was in a terrible mood feeling I got ripped off and this ruined our entire vacation. There were some restaurants we wanted to try out in the area but decided against to save some money. I am attaching the promotion which shows brake service savings example which was denied by this dishonest establishment. .... I am expecting some canned response from the owner to call this toll free number and any one of the customer service reps will assist you.

Do not go here for any service. Creating an appointment online is just a waste of your time, you'll show up and they will have no idea what you're talking about. Tech's give deep sighs whenever any customer enters the building. Would not recommend any service here.

Let me tell you about Monro in Chicopee.
I had an appointment 4 days in advance to have 4 new tires installed. Simple enough. I leave work early on the day and I show up to the appointment on time and walk in the lobby and announce my name and reservation. The girl behind the desk responds with "oh someone should have called you". I assume the "someone" is her, as she is the one manning the telephones. "Sorry but we have to reschedule you, all of our technicians went home for the day". I glance down at my watch. Its 430pm. They are open until 7pm. You mean to tell me all your technicians went home 3 hours early, and you could not even be bothered to call your scheduled clients and notify them? I had to make arramgements and drive down there for absolutely no reason. She then says she can schedule the service in 3 days to which I respond absolutely not. I was leaving for a long trip the next day, hence why new tires were so important. I tell her I will be taking my tires with me, and installing them elsewhere. She tells me they are in the service bay, and that is that. I proceed to help myself to their service bay, with no supervision, and load all 4 of my tires into my vehicle in the parking lot. Not once did she verify I had already paid for said tires, nor did she even check which ones were mine. I could have been taking anything I wanted. She stayed in her chair in the lobby, and I went on to get my services performed at Firestone, who were far more professional and courteous. I highly recommend you go anywhere else other than Monro in Chicopee.

In my $175 full diagnosis they failed to inform me my sway bar had come unattached. Muffler estimate to fix was
$2100. Got it fixed the next day at Eds custom muffler for 160$.

We were passing through on our way from Indiana to Acadia National Park when the valve stem on our brand new tires began to leak excessively. The store we had them put on at back home had a location in Massachusetts. They quoted us over 4 hours before they would even look! We still had several hours to go on our drive to Maine and needed to get back on the road quickly. I found Monro and made a quick call. They got us in immediately! Their staff was AMAZING! They were incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable. They had our tire fixed good as new and our family back on the road in under 30 minutes! They were speedy and affordable! Our family was very grateful for them and their ability to help us! If they ever open a store in southern Indiana we will be their first customer! I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Monro! 10/10 would recommend them to anyone!

Skip out on them. They are not seasoned or knowledgeable...I almost spent money I did not need to on a simple patch.

I got a flat traveling out of town up on i-90... I couldn't get anybody to answer the phone at this or a couple other tire shops to find out how I would get a toe in the area or if anybody could come up and change my tire but somebody up on the road helped me. I got down to Monroe and made an appointment for the next morning. Unfortunately the person that helped me cross threaded the lug nuts so I had to wait at my appointment for like 3 hours which was not Monroe's fault for parts to come in so they could fix it. So they actually ran personally out and got the parts so I could get back on the road and the service was wonderful. However, I don't like the tires. They don't look like they fit the car right but they are the right size. I don't think that the garage at home I get my tires done at would have put them on because the wheel covers have a gap between them and the tires and I paid about $700 for four tires alignment lug nuts... Etc

Heading toward Boston from New York, we pulled off Rt 90 due to emergency lights coming on and the kind, knowledgeable woman behind the counter determined that our oil was low. She topped it off and graciously sent us on our way—5:30 pm on Memorial Day Friday. An Ace place.
