I brought my car to Paul’s Garage to have my regular tires put on my aluminum wheels and my snow tires put on my steel wheels. Initially, they put the wrong set of tires on the car. Instead of waiting for them to fix it, I waited until I got home and swapped them myself to save time.
After that, I noticed a significant vibration that hadn’t been there before. When I asked if they had balanced the wheels, they admitted they hadn’t done it initially and had me return the next day. After supposedly balancing them, the vibration was still just as bad. I noticed they had added a lot of wheel weights, which seemed excessive.
In the end, I took my car to another shop that fixed the issue quickly and professionally. When I returned to Paul’s Garage to let them know and see if they could make it right, I was brushed off with a comment that they hadn’t charged me for the balance anyway. It wasn’t about the cost — it was about the fact that they didn’t do the agreed-upon job correctly. Their dismissive attitude and lack of accountability mean I can’t recommend this shop.

Excellent mechanic work mostly does contract fill ups but I have gotten gas there and the attendant was very attentive and polite offer to check my fluids and such. Their prices are a little higher than others but I figure that's because they have so many charge accounts and they should charge those people more because they're getting the goods on credit. The owner there's a hell of a guy

As a disabled & elderly person from out-of-town, I called to see if they pump their gas. Mario said yes & I went right over. He was so kind & curteous & even said there would be no charge to fill up my low tire before I headed home to Andover. Everything I needed & more. Paul...give the guy a raise!
