Every single time I get a package that requires a signature, the carrier(s) from Clinton USPS leave a slip saying no one was available to sign, WHILE I WAS THERE.
I have a Ring camera so I watched the recording every time - they did not bother to knock or ring the doorbell. They didn’t even have the package in hand, and just stuck the slip on the door!
One time they didn’t even bother coming down the street. I saw them just put the slip in the mailbox at the end of the street, and left! The slip also had no pickup info on it.
One time, when this happened, I had to go twice to pick up the package because the first time, they said it would be in the mail truck all day even though a few days had passed, and the slip gave that exact date for pickup.
I complained to their supervisor, but he just tried to gaslight me and said, “He says he knocked.” I even offered the video footage, and he didn’t care and didn’t believe me. And then it happened again! I’ve heard sometimes they do this to cut down on time on their route, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the supervisor enables them to do this.

Love the passport service appointment option. Staff are so friendly and helpful. It's also the only post office near me that opens earlier at 8am making it possible to stop in for mail services before work.

Clinton Post Office is easily the cleanest, friendliest local post office I've had. I'm always treated respectfully, the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Even when helping customers who didn't understand extremely basic concepts, they were patient and friendly. They keep the lines moving and have gone above and beyond in locating packages for me as well. Very impressed with this establishment. Keep up the great work! More Post Offices should offer this kind of service.

Previously had an issue thinking the phone system was bogus. Turns out it’s USPS’s service number that’s awful. Clinton’s, which is the 978 number on their actual website works fine.
Had an issue with a community mail box that was jammed shut, couldn’t get my packages. The manager met me there within 30 minutes, ID’d me, got my package, and we were on our way.
Great service

FYI - if you request Certificate of Registration and are in the middle of a move , this piece of mail will NOT be forwarded to the new address (residential or POBOX). If you choose to update address on your "MyRMV Profile" BEFORE requesting a copy of Registration Certificate to be mailed again, it will be an additional $25.
They do not mention RMV mail being returned when placing an address change

All US Post Offices are not created equal! Clinton, Massachusetts, has one of the best staffed and cleanest I've used. The staff is exceptionally courteous and friendly.

Michelle saved the day! I was alerted my package was delivered but I couldn't find it. When I called, Michelle (I believe was her name) saw it had been delivered but the carrier may have forgotten to leave the key. She offered to go to the parcel box at my apartment and see if the package was there. And it was! She saved me from the process of filing a claim and her offer to help was very kind and appreciated!

This is the WORST post office on planet earth. These smug people think because they handle your mail that they have one up over you. They refuse to put a mail hold or forward it when I have an ID... they want 50 different documents just so I can get my mail. I have waited for months now for this problem to be corrected. I changed my address, as well as changed it with the rmv and it is LEGAL to put your new address on the back of an ID or license, IT SHOWS WHERE TO WRITE IT yet that still isn't enough!. All I get is rude attitudes from everyone including the post master or a guy that can't speak a lick of English!.. if you hate your job that much, FIND A NEW ONE. Don't go around being narcissistic thinking you have all the power just to piss people off because your job and life sucks!. Time to speak with someone above the post master!, this has gone on long enough!!.

This location is horrendous. Most of the employees clearly hate their lives, and therefore, want to make you hate your own life as well. The blonde women who does the passports is particularly unpleasant.

Biggest bunch of lazy people… my god the attitudes on these people…. the tall guy and the short balding guy (looks like a troll) without a doubt will end up on dateline for having someone tied up in their basement.....avoid the USPS...FEDEX and UPS are better

I've lived in Clinton for 38 years. I own a business that operates (well, used to) a PO Box out of the Clinton Post Office. I recognize the employees that are complained about in these reviews, and have always found them to be pleasant enough, even in the busy times. What I cannot tolerate is what happened today... complete and utter incompetency by the Post Master. I was informed that, because I did not check my PO box often enough, the box was closed (though it was paid in full(auto-payment), and they still kept my payment, in full).I moved to Maine recently, and they claimed that my forwarding was not active and could not be found in their system (though I've already received forwarded mail from my Clinton PO Box, proving that the forward is current and paid for). The kicker was when I had to physically show the Post Master that, despite her insistence against the fact (she claimed anything over $1 forwarding was incorrect), yes you can actually pay more to have your PO Box or other address forwarded for an extended period of time (18 months, in my case). I had to show her on my phone that it's possible... to which she replied: "I'll have to ask the sales department about that". It's a simple option, offered across the country... nothing to ask anyone about... it's absolutely something that she should be aware of.When I asked for the contact info for her superior, she replied: "He's very hard to get ahold of", and then would not give me his contact info. If you're her boss, and reading this... ask her about it, and get ahold of me... otherwise, I'm looking to see how hard you actually are to contact.I'm not sure how you get to the position of Post Master without understanding the product being sold, and how a PO Box would be involuntarily closed without any notice, because the mail wasn't checked often enough (though still voluntarily collecting payment). No wonder USPS has to constantly be bailed out by congress to avoid bankruptcy. On to a UPS mailbox instead.
