This little Sugar Shack was absolutely adorable! My cousin and her girls brought me here. You take a short drive into the woods until you come upon a tiny little wooden house. It’s open 24 seven and full of homemade chocolates and other candies. Make sure you bring cash because it can add up pretty quickly. The sea salt caramels were the best I’ve ever had. It was a cold day, so they tasted even better after they came to room temperature. This hidden gem is a must see if you’re in the Cohasset - Norwell area.

What a fun little hidden gem close to home. I brought my best friend who lives out of state here on a girls day. This place is adorable and offers so many different treats and goodies. We couldn't decide on what to get so we got what we could hold - Lol! Next time we decided to grab more and split it between the two of us.So far I've had the cinnamon rolls which were pure heaven. How she makes each roll taste like the center one we all fight over is beyond me. The chocolate covered raisins are delish and the coffee infused maple syrup will be used in so many different things in our kitchen. I think tonight we will be diving into our colossal cookies. My bestfriend sent me a message stating the blueberry lemon loaf should be illegal, lol.

We went here on a recent outing. It's an honor system which is so cool nowadays. We paid via venmo, but there is also a cash option. There was a great variety of candies, some spices and other things. It was a bit expensive, paid $34 for 3 things the kids picked out. The quality was amazing though, everything was so good! The reason I knocked one star off is the driving/parking situation. We went on a Saturday and it's a one lane dirt road. There were maybe 5 or 6 cars there, and we couldn't park. I had to go out and wait a bit. Some of the people there take a loonnnnggg time to decide what they want so you will wait for a while. It's the size of a shed so it can fit maybe 3 people. So it gets stuffy when other people come in. So that kinda ruined the mood. I thought it was a park and walk situation, but it's more of a drive down the road, hope for parking kinda thing. Candy is amazing though.

OK, listen up, this is truth: not only does Jenn Meckler have mad baking skills she's also a phenomenal marketer with brilliant business-friendly creations for making a sterling impressions. How it started: My wife had seen Mrs M on IG way back during early days of Covid, and sent me over for a Carrot Cake which proved more sumptuous than we anticipated.Have purchased grazing boards since for life celebrations and even extended family stays at our home, always to raves and content cheshire-cat smiles. How it's Going: the minute Jenn told me that her newest Mini-Jarcuterie creation could CUSTOMIZED with MY LOGO and contact info I was completely in love.Proof: I brought them to a professional event this week and all agreed I had the BEST swag of any of the 20 vendors. I'm now using as a proxy business card and leave-behind with my referral partners.STRONGLY encourage you to go on an adventure to the Sugar Shack and have a follow up conversation with Jenn, she's a terrific partner.

One sentence summary: Mrs. Mekler's Merchantile is a tiny, well-stocked, sweets shack in the woods. There's a lot of chocolate products, and none of those mattered once I set my eyes on a raspberry bar. I'm a sucker for bars, and this shortbread-y, jammy bar was utterly delightful.Mrs. Mekler's is on an honor system, so be fair and pay for your purchases. We don't want to lose a very, very good thing around the South Shore.

Fantastic, local woman owned small business. They have the sugar shack in Cohasset open daily. Check out their Instagram posting for specialty drops, Like pieday! Regularly in the shack you can find chocolate and candies, snack packs, fudge sauce, maple syrups with infusions, coffee ect. A fun little pit stop to grab tasty treats with whomever you wish. Sometimes if you're lucky you will find Mrs Mekler at a vintage or holiday market. There is a sign at the end of the drive. It's a dirt drive. Venmo accepted. You can also find her products at local shops like Hornstra and Previtis.

This is the most charming concept with perfect execution. Who doesn't want to swing by a tiny, magical forest sweets shop now and then? What a dream. My son is four and I'm pretty sure he thought we had pulled up to a storybook scene when we arrived. It was hard not to get one of everything but we picked up a bag of chocolate eggs, a box of assorted delights, and some cohasset crunch. We made the trip down from Boston just to pop in and fill out pockets with treats. Thank you Mrs. Mekler for this obvious labor of love. We can't wait to come back!
